i'd say bankruptcy, more back child support, and jail time. he might squeeze in a fight, but nothing anyone wants to watch.
but yeah bankruptcy, back child support, and jail time. i'll go with that.
You're just an idiot.
Overrated performance by Foreman. People make it sound like Georgie made it a close fight, he was dominated but he had some good moments. That's it. Overrated.
Exactly what I was going to post.....
Eddie Chambers deserves an honorable mention as well...
True...
Even if he has fought a bunch of bums hes still undefeated. Too bad people underrate him so much... In a couple of years a shit load of people are going to jump onto the Chambers bandwagon.
so you guys have resorted to hating on him because "skanky hoes" weren't interested in a 5'8" 150 guy? When he beats all your favorite fighters and retires as an all-time great at least you guys can look back and say "but he couldn't pull some skanky hoes". You guys are sad.
Lol.
You wont be repeating those words after he loses to Oscar.
Why do peple think this?. Shavers never knocked out anyone with a decent chin where as tyson knocked out guys with stellar chins like thomas, tubbs, botha, spinks, berbick and holmes.
No one will ever punch like Tyson did....
This could either be a very easy fight for DLH or a very hard one. During the first few round he has to jab upstairs and work on PBF with the hard body shots. When he feels comfortable he should look for some stiff jabs with some hard rights....
I doubt Oscar will try the Left hook that often but if he does he better time it right because Floyd will counter the shit out of that punch.
So basically Oscars gotta jab (A LOT) work the body and when the timings right look for power combos.
.... If that vintage left hook hits its night night for Mayweather.
Have Lost ALL respect for Juice boy.. :nonono:
And you have proof of this? God damn leave the poor man alone... Hes done so much for the sport of boxing and this is how you treat one of the top 20 boxers of all time. Ill laugh at you when he becomes World Champ for a 5th time.
because rahman is the giant killer who beat lennox in one fight.
Yes i ONE fight.
Rahman got lucky on that KO because Lennox was messing around in the ring. The only reason Rahman won that fight is because Lewis took Rahman lightly.... Never underestimate your oponnents.
I would love to see Williams win but I think Tony is gonna take it. Even with
Williams height advantage Tony will just work his way on the inside with his jab and then just throw some thunder punches all over Williams. Either a UD or a KO for Marg.
Floyd isnt going to get by Oscar... I could sit here and talk smack but on May 5th everyone will realize that De La Hoya was the beater fighter that night.
Poor ol' Kimbo is going to get taught a very painful lesson.
Jesus Christ I hope! All Kimbo has faught is bums on the road... If Mercer loses this fight he should seriously start thinking a bout another profession.
This is one of those fights where emotions can really cloud judgment. When I think of Holyfield right now I still can't get the image of just a few years ago of James Toney embarrassing Evander by completely dismantling him in front of everyone. It was so sad to watch. Has Evander somehow now at an older age come back from that? True he beat Oquendo and Savarese and looked good in doing so, not great, good! but I just have to think of Ibragimov's unrelenting attack on Lance Whitaker, a giant of a heavyweight with incredible strength. Whitaker would have taken out Oquendo or Savarese in a couple of rounds, let alone what Ibragamov would do against either of those opponents. But, one can't help but relive the Holyfield of old. I remember thinking Tyson would be the Tyson of old so many times only to be disappointed in each of his last several fights. I know at this time people love to bring up George Foreman. Remember George Foreman retired in his mid twenties and for 12 years did not take a punch. He was a very young 40 year old and a much bigger, stronger and more durable one. Holyfield is a small heavyweight that I think we all know and is no longer a secret used enhancing products to gain the size that he had during the 90's.
Ibragimov on the other hand being a much younger man in the prime of his career doesn't look like much, but I seem to remember an awkward looking unflattering in his physical appearance heavyweight in the late 70's and early 80's named Larry Holmes that always looked to be the weaker physically against each of his opponents. But they kept stacking them up and Larry kept knocking them down. Jimmy Young also comes to mind right now, and for that matter Ali himself was not a physically imposing heavyweight at all in comparison to Foreman, Liston, Norton, Shavers, Williams, Wepner, and others he faced but strength is sometimes deceptive. The muscle bound Norton stated that physically Ali was the strongest man he'd ever face, when Ali wanted to clinch, you were going to get clinched.
I think in Ibragimov we have a fighter who is thick boned and extremely sturdy and durable with a good amount of power and speed. His hand speed is underated and has gone unnoticed. He is still a developing fighter who is still learning.
The biggest problems for Holyfield as I see it is as follow. 1.Ibragamov is 14 years younger and in his prime at 30 years of age, 2.Ibragimov is a southpaw 3.The fight is going to be held in Moscow. Those are the biggies, when I look at Holyfield and what he has going for him there is not much you can say other than he looks to be in good shape and that the lay off may have rejuvenated him, and he always has the big punch. It makes for an interesting fight, I think the smart money is on Ibragimov, but I wouldn't be surprised if.......hmmm. You never know, I remember another guy named Archie Moore........hmmmm.
Ibragimov had trouble with ray austin... nuff said.
I feel sick like someone hit me in the stomach, however I do know Pavlik is good for boxing, so I can't be to mad about the outcome.
It would make me a lot happier if the girl in your avatar would come and take care of me.
This is why I fucking hate this board. Everytime a good fighter looses everyone makes it seem like he's just finished and over. I mean JT lost but he is going to make a comeback and I wouldnt be suprised if he became champ again.
