Did seeing taylor k.o. make any white people sad????

Yeah, i was going for pavlik but the countdown leading upto the fight about Taylor made me a fan, and it was quite sad to see him almost TKO pavlik in the second and then just letting that oppotunity slip away and letting Pavlik recover from the knockdown to then get knocked out 5 rounds later.

This is why I fucking hate this board. Everytime a good fighter looses everyone makes it seem like he's just finished and over. I mean JT lost but he is going to make a comeback and I wouldnt be suprised if he became champ again. I agree, Taylor is full of talent. I think he should bounce back from this, though that largely depends on him.

I don't feel even an ounce of sadness for Taylor. The only way I would ever feel bad for him is if was truly hurt in a permanent way. I know he is a good person, but I never liked him as a boxer. I will always believe that Hopkins won that first fight ( if not the 2nd) and Wright won against jermain too. I didn't start to like Jermain any better when he kept fighting J.M's and Welters either. Fuck, Spinks might have actually been the winner in that fight too, but who the hell cares when both guys are throwing 10 punches per round? Also, seeing that jermain was leading on the cards against Pavlik just makes me even happier to see him lose that title. White, black, brown, red, yellow...who REALLY cares about that shit? The part where I felt the worse was when he was like 'I can't believe I lost the championship...' Yeah, I felt bad for him too. Unlike what I feel for the Mets right now ;-( He's a class act and an excellent boxer, just not exciting enough to become a fan favorite.

Had Taylor come out and fought like he had been fighting... I wouldn't have felt bad at all. But he came out the gate firing, showed tremendous heart, and had the fight entirely within his grasp only to have it somehow slip through his fingers. How could you not feel bad? He did everything the public wanted him to and he still lost brutally.

It's weird with Taylor... No matter how much I dislike his conduct IN the ring, he seems like a great guy in everyday life. He's always respectful. And say what you will, but he has class.
