I mean seriously everyone is happy that Pavlik won but is there anyone besides me that's actually really frustrated that Jermain got KO'D?
i feel your pain. it was painfull seeing my boy slumping to the canvas like that. but as long as he does not have any real damage than im ok.

Bro, I knew I should have put money on Pavlik to KO Taylor's ass. I could practially smell the KO all week long. I'm so glad he did. In the rematch, I can only hope he gets it done sooner. :owned: :boxing:
I was shocked for a few minutes then it went away. Then I thought..... glad it wasnt me.:tapedshut
That's how i felt to man.
I like both fighters, and hope the rematch happens soon.

But he will be back better than ever.

hahaha:banana:
Yea i wanted this fight to be the fight that ends Taylors struggle for appreciation from the fans.
I was smiling my face off when he got Pavlik down in the second as I was having my doubts about whether Taylor had enough power to stop Pavliks attacks and thought to myself "ok this is gonna be a good hard fight!" instead of the Pavlik domination everyone expected.
I think its the way that Taylor lost thats the most upsetting (so much for the punchers referee eh). If he wasnt in that damn corner and in the middle of the ring he would've gone down and been saved. That's the difference between the two nockdowns that people wont acknowledge.
Pavlik was hit with a punch that had him out on his feet but had nothing keeping him up which allowed him to go down and get back on his feet.
Taylor was in the corner and when his legs went you can see his body was falling but neither the ropes, corner or pavlik would let him fall which led to the fight being stopped because hed basically be a punching bag.
If Pavlik was in the corner when he was out on his feet it would most likely have been a round 2 TKO for Taylor and its just little what if's like that, that feel frustrating.
I am kinda upset cause I wanted Taylor to win and im not afraid to admit it. Im sure people will say "blah blah well he got his ass beat so why care?", but if we all thought like that teams that lost games/matches would have zero supporters.
Hats off to Pavlik though he won the title decisively.
I mean seriously everyone is happy that Pavlik won but is there anyone besides me that's actually really frustrated that Jermain got KO'D?DON'T WORRY MAN HAVE SOME TEA RELAX PRETTY BOY IS GONNA PUT THE BEATS ON RICKY LIKE HE'S DOC DRE......
I feel sick like someone hit me in the stomach, however I do know Pavlik is good for boxing, so I can't be to mad about the outcome.
It would make me a lot happier if the girl in your avatar would come and take care of me.
I was frustrated that Taylor couldn't finish him when cleary had him in big trouble. I guess the difference in this fight is that Pavlik's the better finisher..
If you look at Taylor's face during the end of round 2, he has an expression that says 'I have you, I am the lion here.' It wasn't a face of anxiousness to get the other guy out of there, it was relaxed and almost proud of his own work? Maybe I read it wrong, but how it looked to me. He really could have stopped it.

I was sitting chilled watching it, and my mam comes in the door after waking up(cause its like 5am here) and she starts talking. Then I see Taylor getting whooped, and she starts acting like she's interested.
Goddamit, lol. To be honest, I felt nauseous when he went down. I couldnt believe it. You know how, when a fights coming up on tv, you envision various scenarious and endings to it. It felt like I was watching one of those in my head.
I feel really bad for Taylor because I thought he gave a great account of himself up til then.
The rematch, I believe he'll coast the decision safely.
