Vargas needs to realize that he will never be able to compete at an elite level. He needs to walk away while he can still walk and chew bubble gum!
No, Feliciano is the new Gatti, a good Gatti thou.
Id say Vargas was more of a legitimate fighter and champion than Gatti, he just got rushed and paid the consequences. I mean he beat Javier Castillejo in what was sort of a tune up for him, and then Javier Castillejo goes on to win a middle weight championship. Vargas can always say he fought the best of the generation, and still has a win over an elite fighter (winky) which Gatti cant say.
Tito is a class act, he can most definitely STILL make heavy noise, I actually pick him to defeat Jones and will be making bets come the week of the fight.. Oscar still has some left too but Vargas? I said in the other thread that maybe he should fight a bum, I reconsider now because even against a bum once you've accepted defeat and succumbed to retirement, set your heart and sights on leaving it behind you then evena bum can KO you.. 100
ODLH & TiTo should do the same already.
Tito shouldn't be fighting Jones, but I think Tito loves being in the spotlight as he was tonight, he loves the cameras and being the centre of attention.
I think with Cotto's big wins this year has hurt Tito's ego a little.

What rock have you been under. As the others stated above it was no secret that Vargas was hanging up the gloves after this fight.

He said it's his last fight NUMEROUS times.
Calm down.
