Q: Why do people post in threads regarding fighters they "don't like so much"? A: To whine, complain and insult said fighter. It takes them (the posters) so very far. :o)) I would not mind seeing Zab against Hatton, Margartito and maybe a Cotto rematch. He looked really great on Fri. He was focused and he did a phenomenal job. I'd like to see him stop dropping his hands so much. Keep his guard more. I really wish he had not abandoned his jab, but in all he looked really good and did really well. I think Jab needs to a few more tune ups before fighting a contender, but I do think he has all the natural ability to hang with any of the finest in the division. As long as he stays disciplined, steadfast and prepared, I would not count him out.

I think Zab should get his hands on Hatton after Mayweather beats him, then after that I'd drop down to a lower weight class. Zab won't fair well against heavy hitters like Cotto and Cintron and he'd get outworked by Mosley and Williams.

I think if Hatton wins, and Zab takes a lil time off, then Hatton would pick Zab for his next opponent. He is the best-bet to beat of that group, and he would still be a big payday. Plus Zab puts himself out there way too much, he fights kind of like Roy Jones but leaves himself open/in bad positions way more than RJ ever did. Ricky could grapple and push Zab around, which would piss Zab off, so he'd try and load up his punches and let his hands down. I think Hatton beats Zab 9/10 times. I doubt if it will ever happen. I wish though, I think Zab has all the necessary tool to beat Hatton. I'm more 60/40 Hatton.

well since this thread started zabs career is possibly coming back after losing to cotto in a possible fight of the year he gained more fame and showed heart and a good chin (admit it) he just beat this guy vasquez who once was a contender i can see em going back to 140 and beatin witter again(witter is looking impressive) and all the jr welterweights i can also see em staying at welter and beating mosley,hatton,margarito,demetrius hopkins,possibly andre berto and collazo i can defnitley see em beating the ruterning delahoya and ike quartey lotta options for zab judah he needs smarter matchmakers(props for fighting the best tho) i hope zab bounces back he's got mad talent

I couldn't possibly care any less about Zab Judah. He is my least favorite fighter by miles.

His suspension is up in April(1 year since Mayweather fight). Some may disagree but I think the Zab who fought Floyd and who can stay focused can beat Ricky Hatton, and can give other welterweights trouble, and maybe beat them. Zab at 147 is stronger than Mayweather and just as good maybe even better handspeed.

When is his suspension done?

He should come back and face a good opponent from the get go, just like Spinks did. Collazo and Cintron are the only welters I can think of that arent tied up with fights and mandatorys.

what do yall think Zab will do in 07' and beyond i say in early 07' he fights Ricky Hatton(whom he's been callin out n gets ducked evrytime) i know he'll KO rickys ***get ass then i think he rematches Baldomir(i thought Zab won it,that decision reminded me of Delahoya-Trinidad didnt it?) cuz we know Zab will look 4 da KO cuz spinks got it bad Zab hates losin n he'll do it all to win the rematch if Kostya tszyu scarey ass returns..i hope he'll give Zab the chance to KO em cuz kostya gotta lucky hit in n Jay Nadys bitchass stopped it all waaaaaaay tooo early by round 5 i think Judah woulda ko'd em tho he was dazed,he was up at like a 5 count!!! rite after he took a dive,lol,he got up n was ready 2 fight i dont think its fair he stopped it wen Judah was ready before a 10 count Nady needs to be fired I think Zab Judah has seen his best days already and he is on the downhill. IMO, he did not beat Baldomir, although I understand your point that he was winning the fight at least until round 7. Unfortunately he did nothing after that and probably lost the fight as a result. I don't think anybody has much interest in seeing a rematch although I think Zab would win it. Secondly, KT beat him fair and square (by KO). Yes Zab was able to stand up before the count of 10, but similar to countless other fights he wasn't capable of fighting although he may have been standing. For crying out loud, he created a dance step with his falling all over the place, perfectly acceptable stoppage to me. Furthermore, Judah could never beat anything close to a prime KT because he has a glass jaw. Judah will always have a chance against guys like Cory Spinks because they can't KO him and there is no denying his immense skills. For this reason I actually agree that he has a chance against Hatton. Hatton does not fight well against southpaws and does not fight well against guys with fast hands, factor in Judah's power and I give him a good chance. While Hatton has a good KO %, he is more of an accumulation puncher than a power puncher so maybe Judah's chin holds up. Anyway you look at it, Judah has actually been "exposed" and hence will never be a big "star" again.

I must agree that Judah would probably beat Hatton. Hatton is really fighting like shit against southpaw... And he doesn't have the strenght to use his style at 147 Although he did not perform well against Collazo, Collazo has a decent chin, and took a couple to the face. Zab on the other hand does not have a chin. Style wise I think that Zab would do better against Cotto. Hatton has the perfect style to smother corner and KO Zab. I would say that Hatton would KO Zab 9 times out of 10.
