For the June 9th fight, would it be expected for Antonio Margarito to give Miguel Cotto a better fight than Zab Judah? Would Tony beat Miguel? Opinions?
Let me get this straight, you first said you thought Zab had a bigger chance of beating Cotto because of his level of opposition, you can correct me if I'm wrong. Through out 20 or so posts I tried to tell you that level of opposition wouldn't favor him since he hasn't done as well against punchers as Tony has. Then you questioned Tony's level of opposition. Then I told you its all about styles that matters for them to have an idea who would do better. Then you came back saying I'm contradicting myself, how pathetic I am, this and that and STILL avoid what's been discussed. Geez, I even tried to explain it to you at an elemental level, other people have come in and shut you up as well. Continue with the internet insults and arrogance mate, but we both know you got :owned: You want to know what a real comparison of two fighters records look like, check out guru's post.
LMFAO!!!! Comprende?
He had to use the 'owned' icon, lol, how juvenile can it get?
Next minute he will be putting on a camp accent and saying ''talk to the hand''
lol
Just for the record,
Your spanish is wonderful,
Your mathematics suck,
I asked you the same question 5 times or more, and you still couldnt answer.
Guess the sparks aint there anymore, im sorry about that, but i hope you still have some quality of life.
Your best hope is to get two sticks of equal length and rub them together,
Its your only chance.
Laters.
lol.
TONY in my opinion poses more of a challenge both punch hard ZAB MAY even punch harder but one has a granite chin and I believe can take COTTO's punches the other has grade A china and probably will fall with the first hard jab COTTO throws. STUPID QUESTION in my opinion hands down ANTONIO is a harder fight WHY NOT ASKMAYWEATHER WHICH ONES SCARIER.
great post, who's career do you manage?
arum obviously knows nothing about what he is doing.
Arum is the guy who backed Rahman and actually said on an HBO interview that Rahman was very "marketable." Arum is becoming senile and chosing Judah as an opponent for no good reason is clear proof of this.
The correct way to manage career is to take the toughest fights for the biggest paychecks. Usually it is the championship fights that generate the most fan interest, so obviously Judah is the kind of guy who only want to face when he is wearing a belt.
The keyboard commandos love to talk about taking risks largely because they have never taken any. In the real world only a fool takes a risk when there is little reward.

First you say
Then you go on to compare resumes and past opponents here
and here. lol.
Then you claim your not comparing them again. lmao.
What? 'You wanna compare DLH and PBF''.
But next line
''We are not comparing two fighters here''
What you talking about, oh, you contradicted yourself.....Again.
Dont you compare the two fighters to find out who would do better against a third?
Yep thats right, as shown above, your whole arguement contradicts itself the whole way though.
And you STILL cant give me the name of the guy Margarito fought who supposedly
'fights like Cotto'
Seriously kid, give it up,
Game over.
lol

you have to take risks. if not, then you're a pussy ala scott harrison.
moreover, zab's chances are not that great in this fight, point taken on his strong suit i.e., speed, power and natural ability - but he'll fold after some minutes / rounds of punishment. its what he does.
btw - on the topic, margarito would have proved to have been the bigger challenge for cotto.

If I were Miguel Cotto's manager there is NO chance I would put him in the ring against Zab Judah unless the fight was either absolutely necessary or very profitable. If Judah brings his A-game, he will give Cotto a boxing lesson, then everybody will say that Cotto has been "exposed." Judah brings nothing to the table. He doesn't have a belt nor does he have a large fan base. All Judah has is world class talent and a bad reputation.
The risk is too high when the only possible chance for victory is when an opponent performs poorly. Whether Cotto wins or loses, this match is an inexcusable management blunder.

People keep talking about how durable Margarito is but he has a shitty ass defense. Zab has the better defense and will avoid more punches and not take the cleaner punches.
First you say
I dont see how you can base your opinion on past opponents and resume.
Then you go on to compare resumes and past opponents here
It all goes back to the same reality which is, Zab's biggest fights have been against guys who don't fight at all like Cotto (except Zoo who KOd Zab early) and Margarito has been proven against guys who have a similar style to Cotto's.:tapedshut
and here. lol.
4)Fighting those guys doesn't prove you have an iron chin, it just states good punchers (which they're/were) weren't able to hurt you. Where as Cory Spinks was able to hurt Judah, so was Baldy, Mayweather... And a bunch of other guys who are not known for their power!
Then you claim your not comparing them again. lmao.
1)Not comparing their resumes, just stating who has a better chance comparing those who resemble Cotto style...
I know you don't see the logic, its clear, you wanna compare DLH and PBF? We can do that,
we're not comparing two fighters here, but we're trying to figure out who would do better against a third fighter.

if you look at fightnews rankings for 147lbs, margorito has 2 wins over guys in the top 10 and zab has none(but he does have the win over spinks).... both have beaten guys who are current champions cintron and spinks
the combined losses for margo's opponents is 5 while, zab's is 12....
in the last 5 years tony is 8-1, while zab is 7-3-1....
Thank you, now that's comparing records..

Lmao, yet another idiotic statement here, please answer my post above 1st before you reply to this one.
Right so lets see your logic here,
When comparing two fighters records, you only compare the fights where they fought opponents of similar style to the object of the comparison?
LOL
So,
When comparing De La Hoya and Mayweather, how can you compare the two resumes when Mayweather has never fought anyone with the style of Oscar?
Yup, no logic at all.
lol
I know you don't see the logic, its clear, you wanna compare DLH and PBF? We can do that, we're not comparing two fighters here, but we're trying to figure out who would do better against a third fighter. Right now we're comparing who would do better against Cotto either Zab or Margo and in order to do that..... Hell, read the past few posts... LOL
LMFAO!!! Dude, you keep reading through my posts trying to twist facts and justify your points. Its not making your point. What way does Cotto fight?
How am i twisting what your sayin, idiot, i quoted you here EXACTLY
) and Margarito has been proven against guys who have a similar style to Cotto's.:tapedshut
AGAIN, ANSWER THE QUESTION
WHO HAS MARGARITO FOUGHT WHO HAVE A SIMILAR STYLE TO COTTO?
lol.
