Ward over Froch
Froch has a better resume than Adamek.
Adamek was struggling to make weight.
Ward beat Froch more impressively than Dawson beat Adamek.
In Froch next fight he destroyed an undefeated fighter who some regarded as the best smw.
In Adameks next fight he moved up to CW and imo looked rejuvinated albeit against not the most talented of opponents but imo this further suggests he was weight drained at LHW.
why do i have a feeling JCCJ will not come in weight?
he will just pay for the weight penalty and see if martinez will go thru or not
I had not thought about that but now you mention it I wouldn't put it past Chavez hope not though.
Did you just use an amateur fight as an argument for the year 2012? Really?
No I used an amateur fight to highlight how poor your comparison is between Bute and Golovkin the two fighters have very little in common. If Golovkin can knock out Bute using pillow gloves whilst he's wearing headgear it doesn't take a genius to workout what would happen if you take away the headgear and use 10oz gloves.
He beats up a bum and now NSB thinks he an ATG.
Where are all the Bute threads at now? Some kids never learn on this site.
Poor comparison you are aware Golovkin knocked Bute out in the ams right? Golovkin is the real deal he's no Jeff "the next mike tyson" Lacey.

Floyd fans: "he can't drop 6lbs to fight little Floyd, he should put on 8lbs to fight Ward then we will know how good he is".
I want to see him fight the winner of Martinez and Chavez. No way on earth would Floyd take this fight at 154 even if GG was a global star and was bringing millions to the table.
Cotto may or may not of had a re-hydration clause in his contract but the article you posted makes no mention of it and the quote you posted is clearly referring to the weigh in. This thread is just pointless.
I would say top 15 if he would have been around in a better era he would have broken into the top 10 comfortably. I can't think of any heavyweight throughout history that Vitali wouldn't have a chance of beating.
Some of the posters I see ****ting on Vitalis resume are the same guys who will look at you as if you have lost your mind if you dare question Tysons resume or ATG status.
Most people say that Tyson never reached his full potential I strongly disagree Tyson did reach his full potential it just wasn't that good.
It amazes me how many people actually bought into the ridiculous media hype.
Providing Martinez can make 154 without it taking to much away from him he would ruin Cotto his face would look worse than after the Pac and Margarito fights combined.
Martinez K.O or Cotto's corner stop it around 8 or 9.
He got careless maybe he was tired maybe after 12 rounds of domination he lost respect for his opponent either way it's no biggy I don't see it as a huge issue. Martinez would outbox Chavez anytime.
He will never be regarded as the GOAT.
He will never surpass the greatness of Lennox Lewis. Wlad will be lucky to be regarded as top 15 sad for Klit fans I know but it's the truth and people need to move on.
It's not Roach's fault Khan has a glass jaw.
It's not Roach's fault Chavez is a pot head who was up against a vastly superior fighter.
It's not Roach's fault Manny got jobbed against Bradley.
Roach gets criticized way to much on here, he is still a good trainer.
Difficult to decide.
A resumee can be tricky. For instance, Lewis defeated Tyson, a past prime Tyson without any doubt. How should we rate his win?.
His fight against Vitali arised endless discussions, was Lewis about to knock Vitali out?. Or the deep cut was unlucky, for Vitaly was ahead on the scorecards?.
Nobody knows for sure.
In my opinion these 5 fighters' resumees are close, my attempt:
1) Liston : (50-4) No unavenged defeat apart from Alì and Matis, who was however forced to retire after the bout. Many think he threw the fights with Alì, in any case, considering the level of the opposition, I pick Sonny as number 1
2) Tyson: (50-6 (2) ). In my opinion Mike's carrer is more or less over at 37-1. We never saw the old Mike again after Buster and the jail. Yet , I pick that 37-1 over Lewis and the Klits. His rise was incredible (as much as his fall).
His victories decisive, the level of opposition decent, but not spectacular (Holmes -coming back from retirement-, Spinx).
3) Lewis (41-2 (1)) A very close call, maybe he should be second. However, I cannot think of any memorable win. Both Tyson and Holyfield were past their prime when he fought them (Holyfield was at 36-3 before the fight, retired at 44-10, 7 defeats in 3 years, 6 excluding Lewis).
4) Wlad (58-3) Dominant, perhaps too dominant. I find it hard to rate him, or the level of his opposition. Not his fault, but the decline of the HW division doesn't play in his favor
5) Vitali (45-2) Same as his brother. Most will remember him for his defeat against an old Lewis, the only real big name in his resumee.
Terrible list and even worse reasoning.
Please do.
Include the whole resumes. I think Lewis resume is better but only just. I see it much closer than most of people that's why I am interested to hear about this.
No particular order.
Briggs
Holyfield
V. Klitschko
Rahman
Ruddock
Mercer
Golota
Morrison
Bruno
McCall
Tua
Tucker
Tyson
Mavrovic
Botha
Sure some are past prime but there are some very solid wins on there that trump Wlads. not only did he fight better opposition he lost less and avenged his only 2 defeats with stoppage victorys something Wlad never managed to do. I really don't see how you can make a case for Wlads resume being particularly close.
Could you elaborate on this? Compare 5 best Lewis wins against 5 best Wlad wins...
We are talking overall resumes not top 5 wins and Lewis is clearly ahead of Wlad. Although Lewis's top five wins are better than Wlads top 5 going solely off that would make it look closer than it actually is.
I actually thought Froch was going to give Ward a tough fight, but the fight turned out to be an easy decision for Ward. Andre Ward was outstanding. A rematch makes no sense. Froch has a nice paycheck in mind.
It's not about the nice paycheck, Froch could probably make more fighting Bute in a rematch in Canada or another go at Kessler.
Froch genuinely believes he can beat Ward and good for him on that, the fight wasn't as one sided as some make out.
No, I'm telling you that Floyd Castillo wasn't a fight that could've gone either way.
A lot of people would disagree. I can't remember my exact scorcard it's been a long time since I watched the fight I remember Mayweather clearly won the early rounds but Castillo started picking up middle and late rounds. I distinctly remember thinking it could have gone either way.
You can't reason with these die hard stans. They have a hard time scoring the fight with floyds balls bouncing off their chins. They wear floyds pubes like a mustache.
Lol. Yeah I think anyone who has a strong issue with people scoring it for Castillo must be biased it was a very close fight.
Oh and btw for the record I'm using my mobile and had predictive text on I ment hater not heater lmao. I got to start using my laptop this is kinda hard to type with.
