CARL Froch wants to complete some unfinished business before he finally hangs up his gloves.
The IBF super-middleweight champion has set his sights on a unification battle with WBA and WBC belt holder Andre Ward next year.
Froch is still angry with himself at the way in which he lost a unanimous points decision to Ward in Atlantic City, last December.

Taking nothing away from Ward he did what he had to but I do think Froch had a bad night, that night.
Would love to see a rematch I mean why the hell not? SMW #1 & #2 and there isn't anyone else for Ward really.
This is how I feel...
I don't believe Froch can beat Ward but he can give a better account of himself if he fights more assertively. He didn't look right that night and seemed stuck in the headlights.
I'd just like to see Froch take Ward to war. Throw everything at him. Forget boxing and take the guy into the trenches.
Even if he can't beat him I'd still like to see a rematch if Froch beats Mack and Bute. There are no other fights to be had really.
Ward vs Froch - Nottingham - October 2013.
No shame in losing to Ward, even if it is twice. Fuk it, let the Cobra get another crack at it. At the very least you know he will try to give a better account of himself. And we don't have to worry about him asking the ref to get him "the fuk outta there".
If he beats Bute again, he's more than earned a second crack and if Ward was willing, make it happen. I don't think Froch could win but some guys just deserve a second chance. Froch would be one.

I would love to see this rematch after both have another fight under their belts..I thought Ward won the first fight clearly..But I'm interested in seeing how Froch would attack Ward in a rematch...Not to mention I think both are the top of the 168lb div,so why the hell not...

after beatibg the overrated, protected, glass chin Bute,Carl Froch thinks hes the best in the world, andre ward beat froch with a broken hand, the judge who scored it 10 rounds to 2 was perfect the two judges who scored the fight 7 rounds to 5 were stonef
I love Froch but he is dreaming!
I love Froch, but Ward is simply better than him. There is no shame in that, as Froch is a TRUE warrior! Ward is simply a better fighter and boxer as we saw in their fight.
The Bute win has made Froch think he's better than he is...like that Lacy win made it look like RJJ had rediscovered something.
Ward will beat him worse the second time without the pressure of the Super 6 final and the confidence that he is in a different class to Froch. Froch was soundly beaten and was getting hit a lot in the first fight...no way thats changing.
The only way Ward should consider leaving America is if they make it worth his while to do so in terms of money.
If Kessler wants to break the bank to get him in Denmark, or if Froch can pay him more than he would make in Oakland, then go for it.
I just rewatched the first fight and the only thing Froch needs to win the rematch is a gun. He might get by with a knife but would surely win with a gun.
What is Froch? A glutton for punishment? I respect Froch but Ward will level him. No one at 168 is beating Ward. Ward should definitely move up to light heavy though.
Although Ward handily beat Froch when they fought, the options are so limited right now for Andre, that I could actually see this fight happening again if Froch beats Kessler and Bute again. I think Ward wins the rematch though, much like the first. Love Cobra still, but Ward may very well be the #1 P4P in the world right now.
