I don't see Pacquiao having much trouble at all against Floyd's opposition.
Not even his best opponents to date - Corrales and Castillo would stand much of a chance.
Castillo, first of all has a style incredibly suited for Pacquiao. While he's not a slow plodder like Rios, he is a come-forward fighter with not much defende. While he's great on the inside, Pacquiao's superior speed, foot-work and punching power would keep him at bay. Foyd had some trouble, mostly because he couldn't get away from Castillo (he had and still have the bad habit of staying against the ropes), Pacquiao would circle and turn him with his movement and fire rapid fire combinations - like he did David Diaz. Probably getting a stoppage on cuts or a wide decision.
Corrales would be more dangerous, but Pacquiao was a real puncher at featherweight and his chin was very suspect and so was his defense against the straight left. Pacquiao's best chance would be to blast him out in the first rounds, wich i think he would be able to do.
Canelo (and Marquez, duh) would be the most troublesome. DLH at 154 doesn't make any difference, really. At most, Oscar would menage to go the distance, but Pacquiao still beats him to the punch over and over.
Kovalev would probably destroy Stevenson in about three rounds. Stevenson defense is full of holes and he only has one punch, can't really throw any combinations.
Kolavev would just swarm all over him and he would simply have no answer.
Also, Kovalev probably punches harder than Stevenson.
Ward would just make him look silly and avarage.
Wladimir is a fine lookings man.
Sugar Ray Leonard was a pretty sob too.
Oscar de la Hoya had that hollywood look, he could've been a movie actor, so did Alexis Arguello.
Other guys are young Floyd Mayweather, Ali, Keith Thurman, Sergio Martinez.
By why is he even getting buckled by bum ass no power Jessie Vargas?
You talk as if Kell Brook didn't went life and death against Carson Jones.
Or as if he shut out Shawn Porter, he didn't, that was a close fight. And Shawn Porter is pretty mediocre.
You do realise he went 24 rounds with Arthur Abraham - a very close first fight. And Abraham had a very similar middleweight run to Golovkin.
Yeah. But Abraham is totally past-it. I could see Monroe or Murray giving Abraham trouble.
He thinks he is Jack Johnson, what an overrated fighter. Can't wait for him to get knocked out.
What a bum, lost to Frazier. Featherfistes.
Then there would be a thread: "Ali be like" with memes of his knockdown against Frazier.
See what I mean! TC beats a guy going back down to 130 maybe even 126 and he now beats up everyone at 140. Smh only time will tell but I think ya mofos are jumping the gun.
theoretically speaking, i'd favor him over pretty much every contender at 140. Maybe Postol would be a slight favorite, but Crawford showed us the great ability to adapt and that's one of the most important assets, in my view.
Danny Garcia can't deal with movement and boxing as Herrera showed us, Crawford would do the same thing Herrara did, stick the jab in Garcia's face while moving, while also switching stances to make him even more confused. Garcia doesn't do so well against southpaws as Jab also showed us.
I think he beats Alvarado, Ruslan, Algieri, Broner and Jessie Vargas. Postol might give him some problems with his sheer volume and height, but i can see Crawford fighting him off and beating him to the punch.
And as i said before, Matthysse is the most dangerous because of his power. But he can be outboxed, specially by southpaws. Peterson is also problematic because he's an excellent pressure fighter, but i don't think he have the power to slow TC down.
I think he beats pretty much everyone. Matthysse might be the most dangerous, Peterson might pose some problems with his pressure too.
But Crawford beats up Danny.
Terrible Terry Norris too.
He had that amazing habit of making fights way more difficult than they needed to be, he could just slide, boxe and be cute, but he would say fu** it and go to war, even against big punchers. His glass jaw also added drama to all his fights.
His cronical bad temper problems was also fun, at times.
Cause Floyd is the first fighter to tell his opponent what gloves to wear right lol
He's the first to force it even if it wasn't on the contract.
The Morales - Pacquiao gloves thing was on the contract and still many saw it as a ***** move by Morales.
So now we basically have to eat all the crap they throw at us? And be quiet about it, let all the promoters and fighters fill their asses with money and give us crappy fights?
Why?
pretty interesting matchup actually. Floyd was may more agressive back then and was actually a big puncher for the weight.
I can see Floyd stopping Vasyl in the latter rounds but i also can see Loma's footwork, speed and body attack giving a young Mayweather some problems.
I would take Floyd mostly because Vasyl's somewhat low workrate.
