Negotiations have already started for the fight to take place at Wembley. Froch is confident he will be the first one to end the GGG hypetrain.
Why go up for Froch but says no to going up for Ward?
He's moving up in weight, he could have taken an easier fight like Cotto did Foreman. Going for the 2nd best SMW is stepping up, no need to talk sh*t.
Hearing him talk about this is very exciting. But, Carl talks a lot and I really don't see him taking any more hard fights. Granted, I think he'd win, but I don't think he wants any more wars. I think this is just Carl talking again...
This is huge news... I hope Froch backs up his words of war.... I'd rather see Canelo-GGG because Canelo is going forget boxing and try to trade with GGG... I see Froch playing it safe in this fight and using his reach advantage as much as possible, but GGG will eventually wear him down, and the pressure of the English crowd will be too much and Froch will get dragged into a fight...and then it's lights out for Sir Froch... Best fight this year if not GGG-Canelo... Floyd's next fight will be a dud...Don't care about Cotto's next fight... don't even want to see Cotto-GGG(it will be too lopsided)...
Big fights this year
GGG-Froch or GGG-Canelo
Loma-Walters
Runner up:
Bradford-Porter
Froch will have a height and reach advantage but he won't be the bigger man weight wise. They'll both be around the same size since Froch hardly rehydrates at all. Both guys can obviously hurt each other. A sustained body attack by either one will be important. IF GGG can manage to hurt him, things will be interesting because he knows how to finish an opponent better than almost anyone. It will be interesting to see how Golovkin handles true adversity as well.
Froch, mane, that is a bold fkng statement and it would not really surprise me if you made the attempt to back it up. And likely, win or lose, you would produce a truly worthy brawl.
So don't tease.
Well one of my goals was to see Froch beaten up and laying on the canvas, and it looks like I may actually get my wish :). I will eat crow and admit here 100% if I am wrong if Froch beats GGG. Hell if Froch even goes 12 rds against GGG I will come on here and give him praise. However, I am so very confident it will not go 12 and so very sure Froch is so limited and has fooled the public, I am anticipating a beatdown by the Big Drama Show!
P.S. I still will not believe this is happening until its announced and I hope GGG knows that if this goes the distance the bs UK judges will give it to Froch regardless (like they did with the Dirrell fight).
I think Froch is game but i'm not sure if he can handle those kind of punches.
He's bigger but idgaf, I've seen Froch rattled a few times but he's always game so I won't say he'll get put out.
It would be a really good fight in my opinion. I like both, so I will be thoroughly entertained.
This will be a good fight, I can see Froch winning a 7-5 fight, I can also see him getting caught and hurt very bad. My prediction though is Froch 115-113
