I think people are forgetting how much of a tank JCC was at lightweight. JMM would probobly be able to box the first few rounds but i see JCC getting to him later on and stopping him around the 8th
I wanna say now before Katsidis becomes a major star, i've already hopped on his bandwagon
Said that July 20th. I had a feeling Katsidis would make it big. He has a ton of power, huge heart resiliant and he comes to fight in great shape cause he trains like a mad man
Gatti would be lucky to survive, much less win.....he's completely shot.
guessing you didnt read the question buddy, were not talking about the Gatti of now..
Im not saying Gatti would win but i dont think it would be a walk in the park either. If i remember correctly in 05 that was when Gatti was looking great in the begining of the year beating up Leija. and before that he knocked out Dorin who wasnt exactly a push over. The 05 version of Gatti probobly puts up a good fight with Hatton but Hatton comes up on top, but i think it would be a different story with the 02 version of Gatti that dominated Micky Ward in their 2nd fight as he was much faster and fluid
Welcome to BS, i hope you get over your liking of Vargas very soon, maybe your doctor can prescribe you some meds? If not watch his fight against 'golden Boy'.
lampley finished strong there. I have to say when i saw that fight i got absolutely pumped when oscar knocked him down
I try not to get into street fights. I have though when I was young and stupid and they didnt last too long and its a bigger mess than you hope to bargain for if someone gets hurt. Someone out there can have your number as well or a gun. My brother and his best friend both boxed as well and they've been in multiple street fights, bar fights that I have heard were ugly. I tell em to keep it in the ring because they could hurt somebody and it ain't worth the trouble. Against a regular street brawler boxing should come in handy. If you fight someone that maybe has wrestled or can put you on ground and split you up it would be hard if all you got is hands. How many people you meet in the street study, know, or compete in mma though? How many people you know, know how to throw a proper punch? Alot of wannabes though.
im training in Muay Thai now, (thai kickboxing) and have done Olympic Freestyle Wrestling for 4 years(through HS)
Muay Thai is dope. That and a ground attack should be almost complete package for mma style fights. I've been watching this show Human Weapon, forgot what channel it was but it featured 2 hosts, 1 host is an mma fighter and the other was a former NFL player/wrestler and they go to different countries to learn the different fighting styles of that country and show the history of the art. At the end of the show they pick between the 2 hosts to go toe to toe in that style with a chosen fighter specializing in that specific style. So far I've seen Judo, Savate, krav maga(dope), pancrase, Filipino Kali, and missed muay thai. I like seeing that MMA dude try and handle other styles. Some of the styles do actually work for the street. You should look it up and check it out.
i know a place where i live that teaches that. I also heard that thats the martial art that alot of police officers are taught
Because it takes everything, determination, heart, skill, courage, and toughness. Its a sport that pushes you to the limit, keeps you in shape and is a part of human history going back to the ancient olympics.
Am I the only one that STILL can't see this vid?
haha someones left out. Theirs naked chicks at the end of it too.
I thought the stoppage was a lil early cause just as the ref came in holt was throwing a shot. I think he was going into his shell and letting Torres open up so he could hit him with a counter
Not one of my favorite fights. Sloppy.
Yeah its sloppy but its certainly more entertaing then most of the bs fights we've seen in the HW division as of late
-When your computer has more pictures of male boxers than naked women.
-When you post pone dinner with the gf and suggest ordering in because the fight card starts at 6
