As one warrior Falls, A new one rises

exciting fighter but i think this is about his limit. czar was the better boxer and if he had had half the power of katsidis, "the great" could have been in trouble, but then again his freakish power could be the equaliser against anyone in the lw division although i don't think he'll beat any of the top lw's, it'll be entertaining watching how he does cos i don't think he'll ever give up. I agree. I think he's a little limited as well, and that could hurt him against the top boxers of the division. His heart, determination and stamina though is what I think will keep him in fights. No matter how much his face is cut up he keeps on fighting and puts the pressure on. After Saturday's fight I'll be sure to check out his next fights knowing they will probably be exciting as well.

I agree, and from what I heard, it was a far better fight than Hopkins / Winky was....that brain stuff could be like Joe Mesis'...hopefully not best fight of the night

Both fighters were warriors. As far as im concerened we saw two new warriors rising. Both fought to the end. I don't think its quite brain damage, more like an injury that can be serious. Seems as though Katsids' oppnent, Czar needed the medical= he was rushed to the hospital for brain damage...i'll take a cut eye/face over that anyday Both fighters were warriors. seems to use his elbows alot strange way he punches, but he is good to watch, He should call Khan out for a laugh

I wanna say now before Katsidis becomes a major star, i've already hopped on his bandwagon Said that July 20th. I had a feeling Katsidis would make it big. He has a ton of power, huge heart resiliant and he comes to fight in great shape cause he trains like a mad man

he has a corny entrance though.. he should do that if atleast 50 people are watching...lol... kidding,.

I just think it's funny how all those idiots who were laughing at his entrance probably couldn't even look that dude in the face after that fight, and not because he was a bloody mess. He shut those fuckers up. What's so funny about his entrance? He's just paying homage to his Greek heritage by wearing Greek hoplite armor. At least that relates more than Floyd Mayweather wearing a gladiator costume....Katsidis has the ancestors and fighting style to lend the outfit some credence.

there are so many great fights for him in the the lightweight division i think fights with both diaz and kid diamond would be definite FOTY candidates

After watching his fight I will be following him closely from now on, I was impressed with his durabilty and heart plus he can bang a very easy to like fighter

it really warms the heart to see your favourite fighter gettin these kind of accolades.

what a fight! that amonsot should have pressured him the last 2 rounds and maybe would have won if he busted his eye more. he isn't quite bad. that michael katsidis guy, what a heart! what a weapon. arturo gatti type fighter.
