the only thing hatton has that dlh does not is that hatton is a pressure fighter and dlh is not as far as stamina he looked tired in his fight with collazo and kostya dlh is a way better boxer than hatton and floyd is going to knock hatton out
Lmaoooooooo
You still never explained what this means. Is it retard code?
mayweather easy decision if it goes the distance and mayweather sticks and moves.... mayweather by knockout if they trade..........
So the smartest move for Mayweather is to stand and trade with Hatton? You really don't know anything about boxing.
......................
Hatton is a british Junior Welterweight whos most notable wins include a descruction over both Jose Luis Castillo and Kostya Tszyu.
I thought id let you know cause judging by the first sentence you may not know who he is :D
lol, im just kidding around.
Gattis not a good fighter though, and he tried to box with mayweather, brought the completely wrong stredegy, and never really attacked like Hatton will.
And im pickin Mayweather by Decision like everyone else, im just saying. Plus, i give Hatton a better chance then everyone else seems to

Hatton is not a pressure fighter...he is a 2 hit and hold fighter... stamina will dimish as mayweather lands crisp sharp punches.... heart....now hatton is a better fighter than gatti...but didnt gatti have alot of heart....and undefeated against who ...he only has 2 wins that mean anything while having 40 some odd fights to his record.....

relentless pressure, stamina, heart, and an undefeated record

100% right dino...although, here is what hatton has over DLH:
More heart
More Stamina
faster feet
better body pucher
what he does not have:
horrendous reach/height disadvatange
less speed/comfort @ 147
Power is a non issue...mayweather will fear getting hit from either of them so its not like the fight will be a KO from Hatton anyway.
..................
Hatton brings nothing revolutionary.... or anything better than oscar.... oscar does something clever and snaeky he lets u hit him to counter u with the left....but how he does it is he parrys ur punches.... u throw he'll get hit time u parry one left hook fights over.... mayweather picked this up in there fight and thats why he's the smartest boxer in boxing.... he noticed it and started throwing less ...less u throw less u get countered... plus oscar was the bigger guy and who knows if he landed that left what could happen... hatton is a diffrent story mayweather will open up on hatton.... if hatton is bigger than floyd its only slighter...and mayweather will dictate the pace in this fight and embarrass hatton....easy decision if mayweather sticks and moves.. if it goes that far .... or knockout if mayweather trades with hatton....
That was funny.
Listen if any of you guys think that floyd is not an infighter then you're dead wrong. He is excellent at the infighting game.
Hatton has a chance yes but it lies in his hands he has to take risks and let his hands go.
waawoo, look how it sound very easy in your mouth, were talking about pbf, remember? i think is shame that you brits always like to hype someone into what they are not, for example david bercamp, he is the richest player but not the best player he's not even in top ten
Who the fuck is David Bercamp??
Do u mean Dennis Bergkamp? lol
He was never the richest player, hes fuckn retired and he is Dutch!
Ive never read such a dumbass post!!
WTF HAS THIS GOT TO DO WITH BOXING U TWAT!!
stamina
speed
pressure (de la hoya just couldnt keep up the pace the whole 12 rounds)
foot speed
hand speed.
power will belong to de la hoya easily.
hatton is also a better body puncher than de la hoya.
de la hoya didnt put too much into going to the body with mayweather but hatton will...and if cotto beats mosley and fights mayweather next he will do that as well.
when a fighter is quick and fast you go to the body to slow him down and if hatton (and his trainers are smart) they will figure that out and go in with that game plan.
as i said in another thread...
look for hatton to feint a lead right hand (to catch mayweather off guard since he keeps his hand low) and then look for hatton to bang a huge left hooks to the body.
he will do this to slow down mayweather and get him very cautious about leaving it open to punishment...thats when hatton can focus on mayweather's chin.
hatton (in my opinion) will use his youth to his advantage and keep the pressure on mayweather for the whole 12 rounds...always coming forwards stalking him...going to the body (to slow down mayweather) and then (in the late rounds) will work on his chin. thats how i see hatton fighting.

De La Hoya's gameplan was to fight like Hatton does. To smother, and outthrow and to go to the body and to bully him on the ropes. He couldn't pull it off and had his most success behind the jab fighting like Oscar. Like it or not Floyd is the top dog and anyone facing him has to fight their own fight or they're going to lose. Floyd is very good and as a result he hurts his opponents, confuses them and basically removes any gameplan they might have, reducing them to falling back on their netural style. The best way to beat Floyd is to rough him up, throw lots of punches and keep fighting. When Hatton gets hurt he falls back on his natural style which just happens to be the gameplan to defeat Floyd.
Relentlessness, work rate, youth, exuberance, and he's a very live underdog, watch out!
relentlessness? when he's getting countered with rights that will fade...work rate hmmm maybe, youth so what, exuberance thats the same thing as relentlessness.

To beat PBF, you need to push him back and pressure him from first round. DLH is not a good pressure fighter, he's very good against pressure fighters thou.
Stamina to smother someone for 12 rounds straight instead of losing steam in the alter rounds, if it lasts that long.
I agree with you on that one. I give hatton more of an edge than dlh because of that. If oscar hadn't got tired he probably would have won.
....Hatton should step up the rough tactics in this fight and not worry about a points win. He's a much better body puncher than Oscar and he will just keep coming. I think he should tap Pretty boy in the nuts a few times, catch him with an elbow or two and just plain rough his ass up. I would do whatever it takes short of a disqualification. I think Floyd could fold under the pressure of a rough rough fight and semi dirty tactics. It's the only chance Ricky has IMO.
ACTUALLY hatton had a better chance at beating mayweather a couple of years ago, when mayweather was a frail, bad hand 140 pounder, now that he's a little stronger, i dont think hatton has much of a chance.
hatton would look like this after a de la hoya encounter http://www.sportsdds.com/images/0901021P_De_La_Hoya_v_Chavez.jpg
de la hoya is not a infighter
and his body doesnt complement that style of fighting tall and long arm
he doesnt have the stomach to fight a tought fight at this stage of his career
doesnt sound like someone that would be effective on the inside
all those thing i listed above is exactly what hatton does bring to the match against mayweather
the only way that happens if the oscar of 1996 shows up and fights hatton
o shut up asshole, de la hoya hasnt lost a step sense 96, he's just gotten bigger, gained weight, and is slower, which is natural for anybody who gains weight and gets stornger, de la hoya now could beat de la hoya of 96. hatton's style is tailor made to take brutal punishment from de la hoya
