It would be excellent if this fight is made, but I seriously doubt it. Povetkin is too dangerous for the Gayemaker. Povetkin in a landslide victory if this is to ever happen. Tremendous props to the Gayemaker if this fight happens.

Floyd's reluctance to fight ODLH the second time left the door wide open for PAC to be what he is today the best in the business right now. I never saw this coming before the Oscar fight. I thought he was too little. I still can't understand why Floyd left 25 million plus on the table not fighting Oscar. I guess Oscar beating up little Stevie scared Floyd to death. Someone mentioned Arum for being the reason why Pac and May not fighting. That is the most ridiculous statement I have read today. If little Floyd was ready to come out retirement this fight could be made tomorrow.
I will be the first to admit that Khan is the cash cow in the division and Bradley can't draw flies. But he is #1 in the division and he commands respect. The division is too deep to take short money from Khan's people. Bradley wouldn't take less than 50 percent to fight in the UK, even though it would be easily be his biggest payday. His people didn't want to fight in St. Louis because they were afraid Timmah would get a raw deal. Ok, since HBO will pay all the promotional and sanctioning fees and purses and the promoters don't have to do squat let's fight this in a town where the economy is depressed and hardly no one cares or heard of these fighters. Ok, I will get off my soapbox. My point is Timmah's people will not take short money to fight Khan. I will say Khan would deserve 55/45 split of the ppv sales in the UK.
Haye is a joke. Saviour of the HW division my ass. He is the joke of the division. There are others to fight than the Klits. I cannot believe golden boy is serving up Ortiz against Berto. Poor match making in my opinion. Then again they did serve him up to Maidana. Berto should stop Ortiz in my opinion. Berto wins he is suppose to if he loses then there will be a rematch because he is Haymon's boy.
Khan is legit and Froch is a warrior but come on. If Froch beats both Johnson and Ward then I will give you 140 and 168. I wish Floyd and David Haye would retire sooner than later instead of calling out fighters that they know they are afraid to fight. In Floyd's case he is an ATG where you hate him or not but he won't get in the ring again until he needs the money. Haye in my humble opinion is a joke only looking to mix it up with bums.
I agree there is more out there then May and Pac. You have Sergio, Canelo, Bradley, Cotto, Sugar Shane, Maidana, the Klits, Froch, Ward..... The list goes on and on. There are great fights to be made outside of those two.
I love boxing but to say that MMA don't have skills that is absolutely ludacris. Those guys have mad skills and I will watch it also if there is a good card. But I don't find it very exciting and I will not pay for a PPV.
Dawson by decision or late stoppage. He tried using the blueprint he used in fighting Tarver and Johnson but didn't work against a young lion in Pascal. In the later rounds against Pascal he began to turn it on, if it wasn't for the accidental headbutt he might have won. I thought Pascal deserved the victory but if they fought again Dawson would use his superior reach, boxing skill and athleticism to defeat Pascal in Canada or wherever they fought.
Pretty sure they would have to fight Pascal in Canada on HBO because that his where the money is at.

I agree, this fight should have been fought in St. Louis. They would have sold out the arena easily and Nelly could have performed pre or post fight. Bradley's handlers thought he would get jobbed if they fought there.
As far as the promoters are concerned they are getting theirs no matter where the fight is held, thanks to HBO.
Yeah u r right. The fight wouldnt sell very well in the U.S., maybe 100-200k. Just thought about the ESPN3 thing.
They would have to put the fight on HBO or ESPN3 for viewers to watch it in the U.S.
I would say 500-750k in the US and Canada. 1.5m in England/Germany. The rest of the world maybe 250k. I would guess maybe a little over 2m. I think that is a conservative figure. Unlike the U.S. they can promote fights overseas. The promoters here are cheaper and lazier to promote fights thanks to HBO and Showtime.
Yeah, he definitely commands respect. I like his brashness. He will gain a whole lot of fans if he beats the road warrior. Should be a great fight.. Two fighters that have awkward styles and like to come forward the whole fight.

Bad fight for Mosley, he was afraid to get off against L'il Floyd after the 2nd round and Sergio. If he does the same against Pac his fate will be worse than that of De La Hoya.
If Shane fights with the passion he did against Margirito I believe he is a small chance of winning.

It is just so disappointing, here is a good looking black male with all kind of skills that has tunnel vision. He has all this god given talent in the ring but chooses to be a jerk outside of it.
I like to compare and contrast the paths taken by Floyd and Oscar. Sure Oscar is or was a man whore but he knew how to conduct business in and out of the ring. With the right handlers he became the face of boxing a multi multi multi millionaire. Love him or hate him this man was a warrior in the ring sans Bernard Hopkins fight.
Now we have Floyd he makes his 20-40 million or so and chooses to give his donations to the strip club and casinos. Nothing wrong with that I guess but he doesn't invest back into the sport that gave him so much wealth. I liked him better before I heard him speak. I guess we can blame 24/7 for that. Bottom line I think us Black Americans are more disappointed than anything else. He could be an ambassador to boxing but he chooses to more of a buffoon outside the ring. A product of the hip hop culture, perhaps - more bling than substance.
I hate the fact that Cintron dove out of the ring like some punk. It looked like the fight had some potential to be an entertaining fight. I can understand why HBO won't put him on again. Most fighters today have no heart or passion. Pugilists like May, Haye and Berto make boxing seem like a joke. With that said I would love to see Cintron and Berto mix it up. I mean Berto got paid $1.2 million for fighting a bum. I can see why he is acting like a diva. He needs to fight a true ww. I think Cintron gets KTFO but he needs this fight on his resume.

Didn't get a chance to watch the fight. What was the crowd like? Sounds like a typical Timmah fight. Using his head and not boxing. I would like to see Maidana fight either one of these guys. That man is a true warrior; what boxing is missing these days.

Berto's family was out of harm's way and still could fight. So, no he didn't duck Mosley. I would like to see him step up in competition. I just hope the Ortiz fight will be competitive.
This would be a very intriguing fight. Both fighters came up from the cruiserweight division. They could fight this one at the Prudential Center or in England and sell it out.
I think the fight should be in the USA and fought on HBO. The winner of this fight would rival that of the Klitschkos as the most popular HW on the globe.

This one's easy De La Hoya. He was on the cover of EA boxing for years. Females loved to watch him fight. He has the love hate thing going on. People would pay to watch him lose or win. He could come back now and fight anyone in the welterweight to middleweight and draw 30k in any venue that could hold it.
Pac is benefiting from the lack of marquee stars right now. It is pretty much him and Floyd right now and Floyd is reluctant to fight anyone but his baby mama.
