on the contrary, froch's very skilled and fairly athletic(which i picked up when i noticed his feint steps), he's just slow as a snail

froch has done decently well for himself considering he is nothing special.

Or it could just be that 99% of the population, the majority being Americans, underrated him.

Credit to the Cobra. I've been saying it for years, he's slow, easy to hit, has no defence and yet he has something because he's had a great career. I like the guy, he does more with the little talent he was born with than many so-called gifted fighters.

I couldn't have said it better, Carl Froch's resume is impressive, had he beat Kessler he'd be a p4p fighter. It may go down as a failure but the super six's has lifted Carl Froch's career. He comes out looking good even if he loses to Ward that is if he gets past Glen. He beats Jean Pascal&Jermain Taylor before the tournament, knocks up a hot playboy model, slips past Dirrell who goes on to beat Abraham, introduces the world to Rocco Froch and takes Abrahams soul regaining the WBC title he lost to Kessler. For a guy that people love to hate I'd say Froch has made a name for himself worthy enough for Calzaghe to come out of retirement, that is if is able win the Cobra is able wins the Super Six!!

p4p the funniest man in boxing. took me a while to come around (Calzaghe fan), but im a fan now. Lol thats the only reason i liked him at all in the first place (fellow Calzaghe hater!) lol I remember being shocked when i first saw him fight after hearing all his talk, he was rigid slow and a bit wooden but i had been led to believe (by him) i was about to watch The White Ali With Power!

I always felt Froch was i dunno just getting away with it, a bit lucky! I knew he was a hardcase with a good punch and alot of balls but i felt he was too slow and his defence a joke while he makes a million mistakes but as he goes on and especially after the AA fight ive come to realise the dude is for real, he aint that quick but he lands the shots anyway, he really really impressed me against AA. He's in the p4p ranks now IMO and im a big fan, he's cocky but i find it amusing! He has a great attitude to the game and has taken on nothing but the best and he bounced back from hiis sole loss like a true champ And yeah his girl is a FOX! :wank::wank::wank:

I think it's his cocky attitude. That's the only way he'd have the confidence to beat these fighters that have greater natural and physical ability. Believe me, with all the confidence of the world you wouldn't beat those guys. Athleticism,power and so called "gifts" are overrated in boxing. It's boxing, not track and fields. Pascal is a very athletic fighter, and a slow grandpa schooled his ass. I'm not sure Pascal,Taylor and Dirrell can say they have the strenght, stamina and chin of Froch. Froch's physic and skill set are underrated. I can't wait Froch vs Glenn.Gonna be drama, a war.

He is my favorite current fighter by far.....my 2nd favorite is not even in the same neighborhood Froch makes this sport worth watching.

I agree to the fullest....Froch deserves MAJOR props....dude seems to impress me each fight....even in the Kessler fight, he showed the heart of a Spartan!!

I like Froch a lot. Prepared to fight anybody anywhere and always gives his all. I hope in 2011 he gets the recognition and publicity in Britain that he deserves. Hopefully will get some fights on Sky for more exposure..

Froch's jab is especially underrated. He throws it from such an awkward angle.

yes he is....his skills aint all that by any means but he has great intangibles ..

Froch is one of the few boxers who don't care about making the most money and sh*t likre that , just fight whoever, beat whoever and gain repsect of us fans.

I dont like him but he is pretty good still feel Dirrell beat him.In term of his woman ill never give any celebrity or any wealthy man any credit for having a hot piece of ass by his side

Yeah, he definitely commands respect. I like his brashness. He will gain a whole lot of fans if he beats the road warrior. Should be a great fight.. Two fighters that have awkward styles and like to come forward the whole fight.
