Usyk frustates the hell out of Wilder, starts landing that sharp left hand from the second rd on, and stops Wilder in the later rds.
Usyk chin is legit, even if Wilder lands the right hand, a slim possibilty, it would take several to get the job done.
WBC has no rules, it s been asserted so many times one has to be blind and deaf no to realize it.
The Dillian White ruling is absurd, bitter little men. Expect a legal suit soon to correct this, the interim champion is mandatory to the full champion as soon as possible, it has happened over and over.
Easy court win for Whyte IMO.
Imo, Canelo will try to bring Makabu down to 185lbs, 190lbs at the very least, the morning of the fight.
I expect him to be around 183lbs.
If Makabu is out of this range he gets a small payday.
Canelo is 5'8" little man, he is no cruiser or heavyweight.
His ability is tremendous and that's why he can compete in akward matchups.
I believe he can beat Makabu, specially if he can bring Makabu under 190lbs, which I am expecting
At heavyweight he could beat Charr or Bryan, some other B level guys, slow or quite flawed technically.
Thing is, at this higher weights, if Canelo is hit flush, it can end very bad for him, even end his career.
IMO, a fight with Beterbiev would already put him in this position, and we are talking LHW
Considering AJ and Usyk are out.
In order:
Joyce
Yoka
White
Sanchez
Dychko
Honorable mention to Hrgovic and Jalolov
Ruiz, Parker, Hunter have very little chance, due to styles.
Its close but I still rank Usyk ahead of Fury. Theres a clear reason Fury ducked that fight and it wasnt any step aside payment.
Usyk
Fury
Joshua
Wilder
White
Parker
Ruiz
Joyce
Well, Dillian wont beat the top 3 out there, but he is still a top 10 contender.
Ruiz, Wilder, Ortiz, Joyce are tremendous matchups.
Dubois, Hunter, Parker are good as well.
He should take a month off, then a bounce back fight. Charr, Arreola, McKean, Breazeale, J. Franklin are good options.
Arreola is a tremendous matchup. Babic maybe a little later. Zhang or Ortiz could be interesting as well.
I hope we dont see Chisora against world top 15 opposition anymore, for his own sake.
Its looking like Charr or Kabayel.
the Joshua bout is pure smokescreen.
Joe Joyce could be viable in december, a great option.
Sanchez, Makhmudov, Hrgovic, Bakole, are all legit options.
Cant See Hrgovic, Big Mak, Sanchez, Kabayel, Miller as prospects anymore. Those are contenders.
I would replace with Khossobutzky, Pero, Zakhoziy, Frazer Clarke, Antonio Mirelles.
Jalolov is the top prospect out there.
Im a fan of the Juggernaut. This fight showed it will be hard for him picking up a title. But there are many exciting matchups for him out there.
Chisora and White domestically. Maybe Bakole.
Dubois, Wardley and Adeleye within Queensberry.
Ajagba and Big Mak with Top Rank.
Kabayel would be a great option to get back in the mix fast.
Breazale, C. Martin, are good options for next year.
Wait, wasn't Prince Khalid ringside for Joshua vs Helenius ?
I believe he was.
Didnt Joshua fight twice in Saudi already?
Didnt team Wilder confirm the same story?
In my eyes Team Fury demanded Joshua vs Wilder to be cancelled as a condition to accept the Usyk bout. It would take away some of the hype of the fight and elevate Joshua's status.
using the ring rankings. helenius and spilzka were not ranked and stiverne was only ranked in the first fight in which he was not ko'd. so wilder has a grand total of 2 ko's against top 10 fighters, and that was the same guy...weak as hell but keep pretending guys like helenius were legit opponents if you want.
This exactly. Only 2 Kos vs top 10 opponents. Only 3 top 10 opponents in Fury, Ortiz and Stiverne.
All open fights but, IMO:
Prime Bowe would beat both
Ruddock would lose to both
Mercer would beat both
Morrisson beats Wilder and loses to AJ
Moorer loses to both
Tua loses to both
