Wilder vs Chisora? Really? GTFOH man. :lol1:
Chisora is 38 coming off three tough losses- he took a real beating in his last fight too and people want to put him in with the biggest puncher in the division and one of the biggest punchers of all time.
Dave Coldwell seems to be the only guy talking any sense over here atm. I’m not sure whether Hearn and the Matchroom stooges are just using Wilder’s name to help promote Chisora’s next fight but if they’re serious about this matchup then they’re completely f***ing delusional and don’t care in the slightest about Chisora’s
I’d really like to see Del Boy retire, he’s been a great servant to British boxing and has provided great entertainment over the years, but if he wants to continue, let him make some easy money vs Babic or something, we don’t want to see him end up like Danny Williams.
Chisora got more balls than bodybuilder, big dosser and shyte combined.
Not enough talent, though.
A solid 50/50 fight for 12L would be vs Chris Nipple
Arreola is a tremendous matchup. Babic maybe a little later. Zhang or Ortiz could be interesting as well.
I hope we dont see Chisora against world top 15 opposition anymore, for his own sake.
Agreed. War Chisora can still provide entertainment with these sideshow type undercard fights.
Areola and Ortiz would make fun scraps, as would Kownacki. I think Babic gets absolutely mauled, it's one thing stopping the shopworn carcass of Eric Molina but he's just not very good. He struggled to beat a French dance hall bouncer in his last fight.
Takam not a "world level guy"? If not, then what's Wilder's record against "world level guy"? O-2-1? What's Fury's record against world level?
I'd argue that Chisora won some of those fights the judges scored in favor of his opponent. He also sparked out Spilzka and Takam with more ease than Wilder and AJ respectively.
Wilder has wins over guys ranked in the top 5 at the time of the fight by both TBRB and Ring (twice against Luis Ortiz, once against reigning WBC champion Bermane Stiverne), plus the draw against Fury.
Fury has 3 wins (champion Klitschko, #1 Wilder (2nd fight), #2 Wilder (3rd fight)) and a draw against guys ranked in the top 3.
Takam's best win is who? The ghosts of Tony Thompson, Michael Grant, and Frans Botha? Takam is a never-was.
Best resume?
He's literally lost every big fight he's ever been in. 12 times he's been in there with a world level guy and 12 times he's walked out of there with an L. That's not a good resume. He's a punching bag.

the scary thing is, even this ancient, battered version of chisora would probably still be Wilder's best career win in pro 50 fights
Behave mate…
Stiverne (first fight) and Ortiz (both) were both top 5 ranked HW’s when Wilder beat them. Chisora isn’t even close to being in the top 10.
Deontay needs a softer touch than Hrgovic for a comeback fight.
Nobody is fighting Hrgovic unless they get a boat load of cash for it.
Yes, both deontay and chisora need easy touches. Nobody does want flip, not Parker anyway but maybe Zhang will?

His trajectory, so far, reminds me of guys like Omar Sheika.
Killing machines until they faced real comp.
Theres no reason why chisora should get all the credible names to fight. Flip hrygovic should fight deontay

I wouldn't want to see Chisora get poleaxed by Wilder........
I love the guy, but Deontay puts him in hospital.

Del Bum has a few believers :lol1:
They claim he will outbox AND get inside and do damage.
Shlt he's never done to a quality opponent.
And while this era is filled to the brim with bums, Del Bum is the least troublesome. This fight should not be sanctioned unless the sport wants to give Wilder his body.
Your absolutely right ; DelBoy should retire
Funny enough , if I’m not mistaken we were in a thread about the same thing two years ago
Hearn only cares about money , no regards for the fighter
By not giving him more fights , Hearn would gain a few fans imo
Completely agree brother…
