Khan referring to a Pac fight "...to see whose the better fighter" !!???
So the winner of the biggest boxing event ever gets to fight Khan? Like hes the incentive?? :lol1:
Sooner or later, the khan fan boys gotta be real with themselves..KHANS NOT A TOP LEVEL GUY!! You gotta actually face top guys to be so. Khans literally trying trick himself into a big fight. Ask yourself, whens the last time Khan fought a top level guy? 2012!!
Khan wouldve made a good candidate when he was a 140lber bcuz he actually fought the top guys. Of all the WWs, Thurman has the best win so far. Brooks still in the running if he gets a big win(not Gavin). Khan eliminated himself when he chose not to fight the top guys at 147. Ramadan has nothing to do with Khan not getn his dream fight and everything to do with his opposition level.
Ramadan didnt rule Khan out, Ramadan is Khans excuse to duck the ish outta Brook. I dont see how Ramadan eliminated Khan when .his opposition level is clearly the reason.
Hey Khantards! Your boys NOT the future, hes a mark at 147...why you think hes fighting Algieri??? Hes scared sh17less of Brook/Thurman/bradley.
Not happening. Wouldve already happened. Lets stick to comparing resemes and debating who has fought the better journeymen and bums rather than seeing who is the best in a head to head fight.
This guys not getn the fight nor will he ever be p4p#10 let alone #1 :lol1:
If he was ever to get that fight he would retire, no doubt. Not sure if thatd be a good thing bcuz even in a loss, all hed do is claim hes an ATG and never shut his cok sucker.
As far as the p4p claims, not gonna happen with his comp level, but then again these Bscene writers rate his wins very high :lol1: if he wants to fight the best and hes choosing 140lbers, make a statement and fight TC...they can tab it - The Truth vs. the hypejob
In the unlikely event Khan gets the fight, Floyd would actually be doing their handlers(haymon) a solid. Thats the only way theyll get a return on their investment bcuzKhan is too beatable to be getn paid what he does, paid too much for weak comp. So theyre trying to cash him out, thats the only logical explanation for the hype. Thats why he can fight bums and still get tons of attention and praise. Positive sign with all this, is that everyone is shootn it down on the sites. Thankfully.
Khan should fight Crawford if its not about the $$
Khan vs Ortiz. That is The fight.
Most likely too. Id like too see how some of the Bscene writers justify that, bcuz they will, ans how high theyd rate that..khan will shoot straight up the rankings smh
Edit: Honestly that wudnt necessarily be a bad fight. Its just the unwarranted hype khan would recieve that id have a problem with.
Khan should fight someone like Alvarado next. Let Brook, Thurman, Porter level guys all mix it up against each other. Khan can fight Algieri-alvarado level guys and with his skills he can dominate that class for years possibly. Its worked for him so far that hes being mentioned for Floyd, so whats the point in stepping up?
Smh give it up Khan!
Khans not on that level no matter how much media hype hes got. He'll be lucky to get a Brook shot. I was saying this awhile back but i think Khan was a bad investment on his handlers part and their pushing a money fight to cut losses. Makes sense to me. why Khan can warrant a shot with his opposition level and terrible performance?
Id really hate to see Khan get the Floyd fight and i just dont see it happening, only bcuz he lacks the welter weight credentials that would make him a good win for Floyd. A Thurman win would go a long waybcuz he would conyinue to win after. I really dont see how Khan is even remotely considered a top guy by these new Khanturds(formerly *******s) based on his level of opposition. Screw it..give Floyd his KO!

pacquiao beats mayweather, 7/4
watch the replay then mute the soundihad the fight even aftrr 8 rds and couldnt hear the announcers over my company. I scored rd 9 for Pac initially, however i did have my fan goggles on and istill saw Floyd scoop up those last 3 rds. UPON a 2nd viewing immediately after i saw a total domination by Floyd with Pac taking rd 4. Thats was a NICE SHOT by Pac and i believe that legitimized Floyds win bcuz it showed Pac came prepared. Pac was tagging Floyd mid range and Floyd saw thatand adjusted. Dude Pac lost..its settled...just jump on theKhan hype train and convince urself hes a world beater who fifhts the toughest guys out there andFloyds ducking him. Theres alway GGG as well...howevet the Floyd that showed up the other night beats both with ease.
I swear this is the age of the Mayweather clones. The ones the style comes natural to, make it work and look good doing it(Rigo, Selby), the other posers are annoying with their adopted "conservative" styles with that generic @$$ philly shell like Ishe Smith who is completely ineffective with it, Broner and Berto each got busted up posing like Mayweather. Fighters need to stick with what brought em success
I think Khan is a very good boxer. I've never seen him outboxed. I don't think he will beat Floyd (I think Khan will get Ko'ed), but i think he could pose some problems along the way.
The biggest indicator that Khan would cause Floyd some problems - is easy to see - it's that Floyd won't fight him. Use your brains people - he's been avoiding him for ages. Khan was even promised a fight and Floyd effectively pulled out which took Khan out of boxing for a year waiting around for it.
I actually think Khan was a big reason Floyd accepted the Manny fight. He had to pick one of the two. Floyd is a smart fighter but he picks his opponents and often handicaps them. (e.g. Canelo). And there's a reason the Pacquiao fight only happened 5 years on...
Does anyone remmeber the poll Floyd ran on Twitter for his fans to pick his next opponent out of Maidana and Khan? Well Khan won, and guess who Floyd chose - Maidana.
Khan may be delusional but don't be making Floyd's excuses for him.
So have you considered the reason Floyd hasnt fought him, is bcuz the level of opposition hes been facing? How can Khan be rated highly at 147 when he hasnt faced any top rated welters? More importantly, why is khan being rated higher than welters who have beaten better and higher rated welters than Khan has? Is it bcuz hes "fast"?
:lol1: thanx for the laugh Khanjob
This dudes focused on a Floyd fight, Algieri is focused on Khan. If Pac or Provodnikov couldnt KO him, i doubt Khan can. You take into account Algieris also been fighting better comp than Khan has recently and we have ourselves a recipe for an UPSET. I have no clue how khantrrds rate Khan higher than Brook, Thurman, Bradley, even Porter, especially when theyve beaten better comp to warrant their ratings.Alexander 2 years ago would have gave Khan the solid rating, not after hes been beaten and lost his title, Collazo 10yrs ago wouldve been a high caliber win, not last year. Algieri isnt even a welter, but if he was, even he would be rated higher than based on opponents faced at welter.
Algieri KTFO Khan. Itll turn into a battle of attrition, Algieri and Khan going life and death, exchanging multiple knock downs before khans corner throws in the towel. Algieri with KO2... :lol1:
As good as Khans reseme is, of those guys, were any considered the best at the time Khan fought them? Barrera is the best name on there in terms of accomplishments and he was 10years removed from top level competition. How many prime fighters has Khan fought and how has he faired? I find it hard to believe Khans entire record is a sham but upon a closer look, it appears he has a padded reseme. Another thing, its hard to take Khantrrds serious as "boxing fans" when they say Khans the best.,.bcuz his opposition level is anything but.
Alexander is a southpaw, his hook would be a -right- hand :D
While I'm not defending Khan for the Algieri fight , his defense is not nearly as bad as made out to be here.
His problem isn't technical per se , it's mental.
He uses to get reckless and stay in trading range much longer than he should, ending up getting hit by 'stupid' punches.
If what Virgil means is that Khan shouldn't get hit by those shots, then I agree.
Nice catch. A check hook is thrown when a fighter shifts his weight onto the trail foot, works for either stance, rightie or southpaw. Point was the shot was there, check the highlights, Alexander just didnt take it. The video will also reveal Khans biggest mistake he makes over and over..and that is he flurries the instant his opponent is on the backfoot, even a single step
Khan's just a sucker for the left hook.
Hes a sucker for any left hand in general. When hes engaging, specifically. If Alexander knew what a check hook was, that wouldve been the money shot.
Algieri, please KO this pretender. Im gonna go with Algieri to shock Khan. If that does indeed end up happening, its bcuz THERE ARE LEVELS TO BOXING as ive been preaching and Algieri has been facing the better comp out of the 2.
why so much hate..if guerrero earned a fight with Floyd then khan deserves a shot.. hell all maidana did was beat broner, thats it just one decent win and he got two cracks at Mayweather. .khan beat Alexander , collazo, maidana, judah, Peterson (robbed), now he will beat Algieri. .those are solid win.. what else does he need to do.. stylistically Khan will give Floyd trouble, thats a better fight than whoever else is available at 147..unless Floyd plans to fight GGG
You forgot to mention that the Maidan, Judah and Peterson bouts were before he was knocked off his perch by Garcia. Also that Collazo hasnt been relevant for 10yrs and Alexander himself was bumped prior to Khan, so beating them wouldnt rate him as high as when they were rated 2yrs ago(devon) or 10yrs ago(collazo).
If Khan is fightn a 140lber, why should that rate him at 147? Or if Khan is fightn a 140lber, why not fight the the top guy(s)?
Solid fight for Broner if he gets past Khabib. These are the kind of fights he should have been brought along with. I say a Herrera or Soto after that, so he can get some rds in. I still think his team will throw him bk in with the wolves soon..
147:margarito,paul williams,khan,and bradley
154: martinez & ggg
...stop the prime manny nonsense :bottle:
Im hurt Martinez didnt get a shot at Floyd...truth is he disnt have much good wins at 54...all his best fights were at 160
obviously mosley was not in his prime. why do you think floyd was willing to fight mosley but not marg? they have different styles. mosley was the biggest puncher marg had ever faced and mosley's power was able to dent him. that's why he wasn't able to beat an old mosley. floyd has no power so marg wouldn't have to worry about that. meanwhile mosley isn't a pressure fighter so floyd could easily sit back and pot shot him which he couldn't do against marg. floyd just waited until he got the style matchup that best suited him. you can't see that?
But if Floyd did fight Cheato instead, he wouldve been fightn somebody off an L and ducking Shane. When fighters Lose their ratings drop FYI while the guy who beat em gets a bump in theirs..some friendly boxing advice for a fellow fan
Im not liking what im hearing here. So lets scratch off Ward and Bad Jack off the list. JackDegale is THEE fight to make at SMW right now and it doesnt need to be "built up" anymore than it is right now. Smith and Murray(pending) are decent fights for the time being but im getn the sense Degale plans on holding that belt hostage. Dirrel was a great win, Bute is a very very solid defense im just not liking this tune.
As a fan, its a shame he isnt embraced now. But i do believe he will ne greatly appreciated when hes gone and once all of his titles are vacant, what hes accomplished will be put in perspective...big fan right here.
I hope you are right, the Wlad that showed up vs Pulev would absolutely demolish Fury in a few rounds. But we´ll see, I´m 40 and just staying in shape is getting harder each year so I can imagine it´s not easy for Klitschko at this stage of his career. He should call it a day before Father Time KOs him.
Thats what im thinkn. Hes getn up there so what im thinkn is he puts whatever he has left into this camp, this fight...all the greats have that last great outing before they show some slippage.
The closer the fight gets the more im thinkn Fury will be the one lookn to clinch. Vlad beats him on the outside before getn inside and finishing whats left of Fury...i think we get Vlad at his finest, i think itll be his last great performance honestly.
