The American star claimed a comfortable unanimous points win over Manny Pacquiao in the richest fight in history on Sunday morning.
Now his father and coach Floyd Sr has told him to go for a record equalling 49th win against Khan before retiring.
"I'll tell you what I think he should do in September - given he's fought all the hard-hitters - my son needs to get his contract and end it with an easy fight, he don't need no tough fight," he said.
"Amir Khan, yes that'd be a good fight for him. My son would beat him I know.
"Of course it would be easier than Pacquiao. Amir Khan has a pretty decent jab but all the technical things, he can't do."

All the flom0s saying he does not deserve it, yet they championed fights like Guerrero & Maidana.
Floyd asked the fans to vote who they would like him to fight and Khan won the poll, how is that not deserving? When your king put his name forward.
Of course he ducked it. Khan is the fighter that will trouble him the most between 147-154
Pacquiao looked soft besides a couple of flurries, Floyd played with him. MarcosMadaina honestly put up a better fight.
watch the replay in slomo its pacquiao who lands more than floyd, pacq clearly won 7 rounds in terms of punches landed that are hard to catch in regular speed because sleek moves of floyds overlooked the punches landed by pacquiao as if its floyd who dominates him but a lot of those jabs in slomo by floyds were also blocked by pacq's glove.. against maidana floyd can fight toe to toe because maidana is slow and he is not pacquiao.. against pacquiao, floyd knew the risk of fighting toe to toe so he broke his record in miles ran and no. of hugs which is now the criteria in boxing to win specially when floyd fights
I am glad you've noticed that I have no time what's so ever for Khan but unfortunately judging from your posts that's all you seem to have noticed.
I watch fights whether I like the boxer or not and have an opinion on all.
Khan would be a disastrous mismatch and it only goes to show just how confident he and his team are in who they have chosen to fight next, if this makes me a hater in your ignorant eyes then so be it but in a true way of thinking I am just a fan who has analysed past results and performances and therefore reach this clear conclusion .
Enjoy the Chris Algieri fight, you must keep me updated!
You are posting more about him then his fans ffs, like always. Hey I'm a realist, Algieri is a **** fight..But recently Pac has also been fighting career lightweights, Algieri, midgets, bumbums With once significant victory over Bradley on his way to Mayweather...Now same story is up for khan with one significant victory over Devon... Khan vs May is gonna be the most entertaining fight that Floyd has been in, in the past few years and u know it
For a hater u sure obsess with Khan alot.. Post in khan threads over and over again. Don't like him , then quit acting like an obsessive biatch and stop watching and following his ****.. As for the topic, I bet any Khan will do better vs Floyd then Pac and Maidana did..wait and see

Fortunately May hasn't stung anyone since ricky was skinny...so if Khan can somehow manage to set his standard pace, it could make for a fun fight
He stings a lot of fighters. Now he might now KO them but there's a reason they aren't walking right through his punches.
Khan has some skill and is a challenge to anybody in the WW division. However it's a known fact that Khan struggles with counter punchers who can throw in the middle of his exchanges.

The only threat from ole glass jaw is called stalking the guy is a complete waste of space. Everything that comes out from his mouth is a lie, move on don't listen to his bollocks it's child like lies.

I want to see someone who can challenge Floyd at range with the jab and straight FOR ONCE
Pacquiao was never going to be able to do anything with his right hook or jab. injured or not. The left hand was always his single weapon which would lead him to victory...
Khan has the speed & range to do it. His timing is underated. He is bigger. He can fight at a higher pace. He is younger. He has more expierance than the rest of the division excluding Pac & Bradley.
He is a deluded idiot with a huge ego but so what...he is the man to give Floyd 38 year old Floyd issues.
I can already forsee Floyd fighting the "unbeaten" D.Garcia who "already beat Khan" oh god.

watch the replay then mute the soundihad the fight even aftrr 8 rds and couldnt hear the announcers over my company. I scored rd 9 for Pac initially, however i did have my fan goggles on and istill saw Floyd scoop up those last 3 rds. UPON a 2nd viewing immediately after i saw a total domination by Floyd with Pac taking rd 4. Thats was a NICE SHOT by Pac and i believe that legitimized Floyds win bcuz it showed Pac came prepared. Pac was tagging Floyd mid range and Floyd saw thatand adjusted. Dude Pac lost..its settled...just jump on theKhan hype train and convince urself hes a world beater who fifhts the toughest guys out there andFloyds ducking him. Theres alway GGG as well...howevet the Floyd that showed up the other night beats both with ease.
Khan haters can bury their heads in the sand
Khan has more advantages going in the ring than Pac did
Height, reach, speed, body punching, fast combos and the ability to cut the ring off and also heart, yes HEART, something Pac didnt bring into the ring
Only major flaw is his chin, but Floyds power is hardly devastating

Before, he was getting worried his son might lose to Khan... And now, he's saying the opposite, probably as a bluff.
Either way, the way Floyd Sr keeps going on about Khan, it's obvious he sees him as a big threat to his son.
Yea I'm sure that's what it is.lol
Sr. need to chill!!...AK is not at physical disadvantage like Pac was plus AK has a more competent trainer...AK pushes Floyd into deep waters with a good chance of winning atm imo
