Don't skirt around the truth here. Almost every fighter takes an easy first defense and this is a very good one in that regard. "First defense" being the key words here. Similar to Froch's first def vs Taylor, There is a reason why promoters bid money to get home advantage because small factors like atmosphere and crowd support make a difference. Well, it is obviously a challenge or else you'd see more American fighters traveling.

Degale chase a rematch for a while, groves wasn't having it. So I can understand him not wanting to give groves a chance at the belt, groves was on the mail last week saying he would rematch Degale for the belt.

What a turd. Groves beat him twice and that belt he's holding is being kidnapped. Bute? Seriously? And he has the gall to criticize someone who is fighting real competition. Im not liking what im hearing here. So lets scratch off Ward and Bad Jack off the list. JackDegale is THEE fight to make at SMW right now and it doesnt need to be "built up" anymore than it is right now. Smith and Murray(pending) are decent fights for the time being but im getn the sense Degale plans on holding that belt hostage. Dirrel was a great win, Bute is a very very solid defense im just not liking this tune.

James is just begging for Groves to fight him its so obvious he's so butthurt about Groves beating him in the amateurs and in the pro ranks, he wants to talk **** about him about how ordinary he is etc... You can talk all you want about his loss to George, but fact is that fight doesn't define him, fact is he is an Olympic Gold medalist and a World champ, Groves couldn't get on the squad and is 0-3 in title fights. People want to see fighters avenge their losses. Not a good look to be putting down the only guy to have beaten you in the pros. Same reason people give Amir Khan such a hard time, the guy has so many unavenged losses yet talks about how he's one of the best out there. If that's the case, then set the record straight and show those guys who's boss.
