I have not even read any of the post on this thread and i can tell you Sugar Ray Robinson any day of the week however if it was a 50 year old Sugar Ray Robinson and a 35 Joe like he likes to do it then Joe might sneak it.
lol mate give it time :boxing:
PS3 and Xbox 360's are more common then these two fighters so maybe they don't have any helpful imput to make in this thread. I am sure someone will know more about how Firat is doing, i am curious just like yourself.
I think the Winky and Floyd suggestion may be a bit hard however one guy i would suggest is Audley Harrison. He wants to be a world champion yet he isn't willing to put everything he has in every fight to get him in the position where he could challenge for a title. He lost to Rogan, c'mon how can he still believe he has what it takes.
I think the current Holyfield might fall into this category.
I don't like either Enzo's Mac or Cal and hope he gets beat, the guy is still talking like a bad man. He wouldn't last 5 mins in the UFC because he has limited boxing skills and he would get destroyed in other areas like wrestling etc..
He should try to be a contender in boxing before even thinking about going to UFC. He only started talking about it after Haye suggested he might make the switch after he retires from boxing.
I think Joe lack of desire to promote himself to the fans held him back too but he would not be undefeated if he fought Jones and Hopkins in their prime.
I think Tyson lost some valuable years just like Ali and their legacy could have been even better had they been allowed to fight during them periods. Tyson is an inteligent guy even though he has had his troubles due to him being easily influenced from the negative people around him so he knew the boxing game well and when his heart was init he was definitely a bad ass.
Prince Naseem was a great boxer and showman and made boxing a top sport however as soon as he split with Ingle i think his love for Boxing was reduced compared to his love for the fame and money. He wanted to be a world champion and fight in big main events which he accomplished so he got carried away and got defeated by Barrera. I actually believe a hungry Prince trained by Ingle could have defeated Barerra but it happens in life and Prince in my opinion didn't have the love for boxing he had before he accomplished most his goals.
I think we should seperate the character you see on the TV and the actual people. Prince Naseem's incidents in life have nthing to do with his boxing career and should be kept seperate. He was a cocky or confident guy however you wish to look at it and he did play up to the cameras but i don't he was actually like that as a person when the cameras weren't rolling. I met him twice and he came across as a great guy, different to how he comes across on TV but i have heard the same about Floyd.
The accident that he ran from wasn't because he was being cocky as i believe he got scared and didn't know what to do so panicked and chipped. it was the wrong thing to do but it is a lot easier to talk about the situation then actually being involved in it.
Pavlik needs to change his style a bit he can be an easy target to hit and Roach could be the guy to help tighten his defense up and take him to the next level.
I was supporting Taylor and i agree it should have been stopped so he can come back and fight another day instead. The ref was good as if he was a dumbshit and Taylor did make the ten i wouldn't be surprised if taylor would've got hurt bad. A couple of warm up matches for taylor to get his confidence back and then we should get a rematch if Pavlik is still doing his thing.
floyd is getting old man thats why he won't have more then 2 fights after the Hatton one in my opinion which means unless its not a huge pay day for him it aint gonna happen. If Hatton Wins Floyd won't get the huge pay days any more.
P.S why is my signature picture small compared to some of the others you lot have as my thingy won't let me have a bigger pic.
It will be a great fight in my opinion and floyd will not knock Hatton out. Hatton will chase floyd all over the ring and if he gets tired then theres a possibility for floyd to KO Hatton but this is not likely. HAtton will also not have all his fans behind him as they were not given enough tickets so this could be a factor too in keeping Hatton spirits up if he having problems with Floyd. I expect the same old shit with floyd so Hatton needs to go in there with his A-Game for 12 rounds as Floyd is P4P with out a doubt at the moment.
I'm going to be rooting for Hatton though i respect both fighters ability. All i have to say is let the best man win. An O has to Go.
I'm new here btw from Boxing Banter. :boxing:
LOL Hatton carries with him a hell of a Body Punch and im sure Mayweather knows this. If Hatton catches him early on watch Mayweather dance around the ring working on the jab.
Naz will easily support Kell. Kell came up under Naz and Naz has supported Kell for years. I don't think Naz has the same passion for Amir and for some reason I sense there is a little tension between Naz and Amir.
Naz will always support Amir over Kell because of the religion they share and there is no tension between them as they always chill together and go Dubai to relax. They are very good friends and naz aint Asian he is Arab, Naz's reaction after the Khan v Maidana fight should show you that he war concerned and hoping Amir doesn't get in another war like that.
I like both fighters but Khan would destroy Kell and Warren knows this and he also knows this fight won't happen YET because Kell is simply not a name...It will be Judah or Peterson.
Hopkins proved he is a LIVING LEGEND. Apparently the scorecard had some issues in terms of not being marked correctly so we shall see if that goes any further. A rematch has been ordered according to Schaefer.
