well a good example is my cousin (who never watches boxing) asked me if they were going to fight and told me it would be the first ppv he bought. So if it draws people like that who I woulda never guessed would watch it, who knows.
Cinco de Mayweather

Good piece, looking at the career of Floyd and if father time has caught up to him just a bit. Plus we get a nice Roy Jones Jr. reference in it.
Not trying to discredit Cotto in anyway. Just felt like Floyd wasn't at the peak of his sharpness. Not saying he is over the hill haha, just could tell (or at least I think) that life is creeping up on him. All great fights start to lose a step, feel like he is just scratching the surface of that now.
Age catching up to Floyd a bit?
Even though he won outright against Cotto, it just felt like age has finally touched Floyd a bit. I went back and watched some vintage Floyd on YouTube, and it seems like he isn't exactly the same today. His skill set alone will keep him on top of the world, but age is clearly coming into play.
I think Taylor is going to beat Winky but If Winky comes out as impressive as he did against Tito, I could see him pulling another great Win. I cant really decide yet, Im pikcing Taylor but that could change.
It was a very impressive win no doubt but come on dont discredit Floyd. He still is the King p4p. Off the top of my head Id put Hopkins anywhere from 6 to 10.
I was very impressed last night, brought me back to the days I really enjoyed watching Hopkins fight. I think he's done and what a fantasic way to go out.
Mayweather Jr. He talks mad shit yes, but he backs it up always in the ring and I respect that. Shit talking if backed up is always nice to me. I also respect dudes like Winky Wright for never gettin a big break and then winning 3 huge fights (Mosley 2x, Tito) and still be humble about it. He's ready for Taylor and this is the best fight in the Middleweight division.
Mayweather is a fantasic boxer. We've all seen him over his career and what he does night and night out. Its common to say "Oh so and so is going to beat on Mayweather" everyone wants to pull the upset card and say I told you so. Floyd would not have any trouble with Hatton simply because in America he wont get bullied like Tyszu did. He will outbox Hatton and break him down. Collazo is a average boxer and have Ricky some serious trouble, Floyd is on another level than Collazo in terms of skill. The only guys I see Floyd having trouble with are solid boxers such as Margarito or a DLH.
