Is Teddy Atlas on crack?

espn classic usually around holidays does the boxing ringside of boxers that is like 6 hours long and they play it like 4 times back to back. yeah, i don't get espn classic but i plan too, i got hbo, and now for june i'll have to get showtime but it'll be worth it for the castillo v. corrales fight. :boxing: i remember the days when espn would show some really good fights, that were i seen bowe v. holyfied 1, leonard v. hagler, argullo v. mancini, and of course many ali fights, but once they created espn classic they hardly if ever show these type of fights again on regular espn.

damn how old are you i used to read a lot about boxing, any info on fighters and i would read the article or book, one of my trainers always talked about muhhamed ali so i read a few of his books. i also watch a lot of documentaries. just today on foxsports their was a very interesting documentary done on george foreman but i had to do other stuff so i didn't watch, but i'll be looking for the tv schedule to see when they show foremans documentary again.

Like hed say "right here he would have to be busier if hed want to win over the judges" and stuff like that. He was also saying how he only throws when there is an opening, instead of wearing down the guys guard until he forces and opening, just like agustus. Atlas made some wonderful points, and navarro should listen to his comments. He also continually complemented navarro on his strong poins, so im honestly confused about what u had to say, topic creator. as you pointed out what atlas said, im still not seeing what fight atlas was viewing, maybe atlas was drunk? atlas should know! that every fighter works for a certain oppoent and navvarros plan tonight was perfect! regardless what atlas bad commentary had to say!

Repeatedly throughout that fight he was saying that Navarro may be hurting himself by not being busy enough, that he needed to throw more punches in the spots where he was stepping back and gearing up for his next flurry. Navarro averaged 134 punches per round, which weirdly works out to a punch every 1.34 seconds. I don't know what fights Teddy is used to in whatever Bizzaro Universe he lives in, but that's a pretty good output.
