Where do u rate B-Hop p4p at the present ?

8 or 9. He has one win in his last three fights. Yeah but don't forget those two losses where close and controversial.

I'm not sure why everyone counted out Hopkins after his 2 defeats with one fighter... This was my previous p4p list "1. Floyd 2. Pac 3. Wright 4. Barrera 5. Hatton 6. Calzaghe 7. Tarver 8. Mosley 9. well if he retired then he cant be on the list but he at least has to be 10, i mean i think he got robbed twice vs JT but after "losing" twice and going up 2 weight classes at 41 years young and DOMINATING the LTHW champ, he has to be at least 10

Well he retired so he will not be in my list, but he is definetly top 10 at the moment if fictionally he was still active. This just shows you how good Jermaine Taylors wins over Hopkins really were, Hopkins win over Tarver that is, or it might just be that Tarver was never that good. Who knows?

yeah nah man i'm with you, and i wont be shocked if taylor beats winky but man... it's fuckin winky- hah. i just don't see anything close to an easy win for taylor, if a win at all. i had winky picked to win for months but manny steward hopping into taylor's corner has really pushed this into the pick em' zone for me. but for the sake of keeping the topic alive- bhop is top 10 p4p no matter what right now and hopefully he'll retire, because i don't foresee roy jones coming out looking to fight hopkins any time.

Mike R. I feel u man and appreciate the substance behind ur opinion. If jt wins against winky, ur right it does speak very highly of him, but I highly doubt he wins. Highly doubt it. I just think B-hop should be rated very hight if not number 1 because of his accomplishments and secondly I dont think jt beat him, but either way he is still disputed champ

But Tarver wasn't even rated in the top 10 and Jermain would also beat Bernard if they fought again. I'd put him probably in the 8th slot im sorry but jermaine didnt beat bernard jim lampley did

i would put hop at 6 or 5. but i would keep jermaine over him- i was with hop winning the first fight but it doesnt matter. 2 losses against taylor are in the books and thats how it went down whether i like it or not. but hop has been just on the outskirts of my top 10 since last summer so this fight has certainly brought him back into the p4p picture for me. and as far as his legacy- his career will be remembered as legendary. sugar ray robinson is still the king, but bhop belongs in any list or reference to the top 5 middleweights of all time- despite this huge win being at lightheavy. i think if taylor wins on saturday- more than anything- this is all going to just speak really really really highly of taylor. if he beats winky then taylor is the truth, plain and simple. the only fight i wont be pissed at hopkins for taking at this point is the jones rematch- other than that, it's time to hang them up and smile at everything he's accomplished. hopkins life story and career are both folklore material now.

It was a very impressive win no doubt but come on dont discredit Floyd. He still is the King p4p. Off the top of my head Id put Hopkins anywhere from 6 to 10.
