as a fighter yes, but i dont know his personality........you may enligthen me
After seeing footage of some of his interviews, I don't see where he really held back that much, he was very cocky in his own way. When he was asked if his life was going to change because of marriage, he said "I'm gonna stay boss!" lol His wife was with him and I think they were still in front of the courthouse lol
Theres quite a few for me.
Gatti - After hes been in a war, hes always humble.
Hatton - Just a nice guy really.
Winky - Worked hard to get where he is, and his hard work has paid off, not cocky or anything.
Lacy - Knew he was beaten by one of the best boxers, and didnt trash talk.
Dela Hoya - Achieved alot in boxing, even when mayorga disrespected him he shook his hand at the end of the fight.
Joe Calazghe - Always believed in himself when 90% of people thought he was going to lose to Lacy and didnt brag about beating the crap out of him.
I'm going to hear whistles and boos, but I've liked Antonio Tarver's attitude from the beginning. A lot of boxing fans don't like him, probably because he's a bit of a loudmouth, but his attitude is very positive and he's level-headed. He doesn't insult his opponents and his confidence is genuine.
Felix Trinidad's attitude was always good. He trained hard and fought like a champion in every fight.
George Foreman's attitude was great during his comeback, and awful during his earlier years.
I'm pretty old fashioned:
Winky
Vernon Forrest (his work with "Destiny's Child"--not the singing group, but an establishment he co-founded to help "special" children)
Azumah Nelson who's always a gentleman.

Strangely, I also enjoy Toney's antics. And, because I loved Yogi Berra, I don't get put off by George Foreman's statements.:)
Yogi Berra sampler:
"Nobody goes to that place anymore; it's too crowded!"
"It gets late pretty early out there!"
It goes somthing like this
Merchant:who do you think you'll fight next before you get ready for the corrales fight?
Castillo: I dunno maybe a Taxi Cab Driver...
It was somthing like that I have to find the quote.. That was win he beat Reyes
lol.. thanks.. castillo is a great fighter.. i see him winning the next bout with chico.. i just hope theres no weight issues
Oh, and DLH, too. The only annoying thing (which is a good thing really) about him is that hes so nice. That and he says "oh my gosh" alot. Thats annoying.
what did castillo say to merchant.. just curious

Definately guys like Kostya Tszyu, Manny Pacquio and Oscar De La Hoya
These Guys have great great Belief in their ability there fore are confident but never cocky nor disrespectful towards an opponent
i like the odd cocky person like, Prince Nassem and Roy Jones.
cause even though these guys were over confident they never talked shit about the opponent and if they did it was rare.
I really dont like guys like toney tarver and Mayorga who are flat out assholes
