FACTS: Ortiz was knocked down twice in that fight and he struggled to even get up from one of them. Ortiz was just lucky that Berto has no defense. Proof is that Guerrero, Soto Karass did the same job on Berto.

Manny went down to 143 for Marquez 3 and there were reports not too long ago that if a good fight at 140 can be made then they would go for that too. Floyd on the other-hand couldn't make 144 comfortably against Marquez and came in at 146.
Floyd is a gym rat and that is why he can maintain a relatively stable weight. As for his UNOFFICIAL fight night weight, ...... as the word implies, it's UNOFFICIAL. For example, the Maidana fight. You can tell by his body that he was higher than what they said was his fight night weight.
When Pac was fighting Morales at 130 lbs, he came fight night at 143 lbs while his opponent at 136 lbs. (or was that Marquez?)

I myself have asked casual boxing fans and many "hate" May, not because he does not knock out opponents but because he shames his opponents, makes them look like amateurs for most of the duration of the fight. At least, in the Maidana fight, it was competitive for the 1st 6 rds, thanks in part to the cut incurred by May in the 4th. Else, the charade would have ended right there and the schooling begins.
You're more likely to be accused of cheating when you win than you are when you lose, surely that's obvious.
By the way, around the time of the Bradley fight, JMM was accused of using peds by many people on here, myself included. The fight fell apart because he avoided extra testing, from what I recall the majority of people saw that for what it was: a drugs cheat doing his best to avoid detection.
