He can say whatever he wants about Manny as long as he fights him eventually. It will be considered hype. If he doesn't, he looks like a fool who ducked a smaller man.
The people defending him though are not so smart.
TBE? The Best Evader?
First was not fighting Margarito when he was offered good money.
Then Evading a younger Mosley, Cotto.
Then of course, the biggest Evasion of all time. evading Manny Pacquiao. He calls himself "Money" but ducks the fighter that would give him the biggest payday. The fighter that boxing greats want to see him fight. A fighter who is naturally smaller than him.
TBE indeed.
They have to make this fight worth Floyd's while for the fans sake. Whether you like it or not, but if the fight is to be made, Manny and team have to bend over. FLOYD DOES NOT CARE ABOUT FIGHTING MANNY PACQUIAO!
And he cares about fighting Maidana, Guerrero, Ortiz, etc? That makes any sense to you?? Lol.
Here's the latest on Floyd:

^ I don't know if it can be compared to RJJ though because RJJ never had a proven chin like Pac.. he hardly ever got hit before the first time he was KOd while Pac has been hit plenty of times before by bombs and very very rarely seemed even mildly fazed by it until his last fight..
It's the new found, super-human power, of Marquez.
If Rigo does not have the clinching ability of Floyd, Mares has a chance just like Donaire did but he did not execute. Running is not enough. Need to clinch well also especially against Mares who will go in hard and throw. Learn from Floyd.
Beautiful boxing by the best we've seen in this era....only thing would have made it better if Floyd sr would've rocked Ruben before round 1.....and I guess it's safe to say he has his legs hu haters lol Gbp better protect canelo n keep him shelved up for a bit longer they don't want to get there cash cow embarrassed just yet...
Beautiful when he boxes and not clinch waiting for the ref to save him.
I don't agree that's the only way, but I do agree that the ref should fighters fight.
Robert Byrd followed the same pattern as Cortez, in the first half of the fight he allowed Floyd to lock Guerrero's arm up repeatedly and would jump in while in the second half of the fight when Mayweather looked like KO-ng Guerrero he said 'box out'. It should have been 'box out' from the beginning, not just when it suited FMJ.
Byrd only did it for a few seconds. Then back to how it was. Those few seconds Floyd did not show anything.
No one can beat Floyd. He is just too fast and he holds or runs. The only way anyone can beat him is if the refs let the fighters fight and not keep saving Floyd in the clinch which he should not be allowed to do so excessively in the first place. Just imagine if there was that much referee involvement between Ali-Frazier, Hagler-Hearns, Leonard-Duran, Barrera-Morales, all-time great fights.
Floyd is a great fighter. Unbelievable reflexes, handspeed. But he won't be where he is if he was not allowed to grab and hold. Something other all-time greats don't do as a standard part of the way they fight.
He is a master outside boxer. Incredible reflexes and speed. Second to none.
But he does not have an inside game with elite competition. He will just hold. True greats never did that. If Ali wanted to, he could have avoided punishment by doing the punch and hold technique all the time. He had the tools Mayweather has. But that is why he is greater than Mayweather. Would Floyd do what Ali did against Foreman and Frazier? Prime, elite competition?
Mayweather's most dangerous foes:
Canelo, Martinez both naturally bigger, fast and powerful guys.
And then down at 147... we always leave out Broner because they're boys. Which is really convenient for both of them because if Broner stops Paulie convincingly.. He is clearly the other dude at 147.
It kind of sucks that Floyd and Broner are trying to be all Klitchsko at welter from a pure fight-fan perspective. But I am speaking too soon- we need to see how Broner looks against Malignaggi. But for him to be at 147 and for Floyd to supposedly have 5 more fights campaigning around that weight.. That is a lot of fights and those 2 names never fighting is just going to become more and more noticeable.
Broner so far to me is entertaining. Just like how Floyd was early in his career. Hope Broner doesn't revert to the clinch for defense like Floyd did.
