Canelo called him out too at 154 but they fought for the jmw title at 152 for some reason. Why didn't Floyd move up like JMM did?
I think Canelo mentioned he would fight Floyd at 152, so it makes it more legit than Pac's catchweight against Cotto. Not sure what the logic behind it is but clearly both didn't need a catchweight.
I don't see how you can use that against Floyd. After Marquez beat Juan Diaz he called out Floyd. and Floyd took the fight, that is NOT a cherry pick.
JMM and Pac 3 was a fight in which Manny had every conceivable advantage and still looked like sh*t. I dont really consider that fight a cherry pick either because Marquez was calling out Manny just as he called out Floyd. The difference is that Floyd is simply a better boxer than Manny and therefore was more successful against JMM.

TBE? The Best Evader?
First was not fighting Margarito when he was offered good money.
Then Evading a younger Mosley, Cotto.
Then of course, the biggest Evasion of all time. evading Manny Pacquiao. He calls himself "Money" but ducks the fighter that would give him the biggest payday. The fighter that boxing greats want to see him fight. A fighter who is naturally smaller than him.
TBE indeed.
See you're spinning the facts again. Marquez jumped from 135 to 144 for the Mayweather fight which is not even a two weight class jump lol. You need help with basic math. Using your logic Sugar Ray Leonard cherry picked Roberto Duran because he also had Duran move up two weightclasses to fight him. Using your logic Manny Pacquiao cherry picked JMM as well by not fighting him at light weight and instead having JMM move up yet again to fight him.
This is an utterly stupid comparison.
When he fought cotto at his "comfortable" weight where he was prime I believe Cotto was technically undefeated and then dominated Guerrero but Canelo at a catchweight sealed the deal. TBE.

I'll have to repeat myself since you can't read: Plenty of deserving fighters at 147 and 154 called Floyd out including titleholders and top contenders, why didn't Floyd fight them? He didn't have to go cherrypicking a guy who was a division lower who wasn't even his most lucrative option at the time.
I honestly don't care show sh*tty Pac looked fighting against whoever, that has nothing to do with my point. Don't try to categorize everyone into a Pac/Floyd groupie. Some of us are real boxing fans. lol.
Lol, plenty of deserving fighters at 147 and 154 called Floyd out including titleholders and top contenders, why didn't Floyd fight them?
JMM had only fought one fight at 135 and was forced to move up to the welterweight division, those are the facts, interpret them as you want. In my opinion, the guy hadn't even settled down at 135 when only seven months later he had to move up welterweight for the biggest paycheck of his life.
Further, the only thing preventing JMM v. Pacquiao III from being a cherrypick is their past history together. Further, if Pac had dropped down to 135 (like you suggest) for the Marquez fight what stops it from being a cherrypick for JMM over a 'drained Pac'? lol. I'm not sure where you're getting at but your logic is skewed.

Complete nonsense. Hatton was the number one guy at junior welterweight and he called Floyd out. It is not a cherry pick if a guy calls you out especially one who is an undefeated world champion.

And it still remains true that Marquez had more welterweight (sure I'll avoid calling it 147 since your knit-picky) fights than Hatton and had fought at the weight more recently by the time he fought Pacquiao in 2012 and it still remains true that Hatton was a blatant cherrypick...
At least in Pacquiao's case he still had unfinished business with JMM seeing as all their prior fights were controversial and many thought JMM won all three fights. Mayweather's cherrypicking of Hatton is inexcusable as is his later cherrypicking of Marquez when he had him move up three weight classes and cheated him on the scales.

I'm not knit picking at all, it was YOU who called ME out on my statement that Marquez had never fought at 147 and I proved you wrong.
And there is no agenda, Hatton was fighting at light welterweight while
Marquez was still fighting at 126. Hatton is a naturally bigger man than Marquez. Manny got KO'd by a career featherweight at 147. That is way worse than Floyd beating Light welterweight at 147. Pacquiao Marquez 4 was a calculated risk that backfired big time.

So you think a guy who had two prior fights a welterweight was less accustomed to the weight than a guy who had 2 fights at welterweight? Not only that it had been longer since Hatton fought at welterweight than Marquez when he fought Pacquiao. You clearly have an agenda here. lol
You're just knit picking my writing lol, I use 147 as a short way of saying welterweight, if it bothers you less I'll use WW from now on. lol.

Now you're running in circles. You said "Floyd fought Marquez at 147lbs" and I proved you wrong. And I could really care less about Floyd not making the weight but fighting at a catchweight of 144 is not the same as fighting at the 147 lb limit. If it were people would not hate on catchweights as much as they do. You also said Marquez fought Pacquiao 5 times which is also false, they only fought 4 times.
My point is that Hatton had at least fought at 147lbs whereas Marquez never had and he STILL KO'd Manny.

Mayweather and Marquez fought at welterweight, Floyd missing the weight is irrelevant to that point. The welterweight division is anything from 147-140, if you don't like it go follow another sport.
You said Hatton was accustomed to the welterweight division because he had fought (and lost) a fight at 147, even he went right back to 140 where he fought two more fights before the Mayweather fight, and yet somehow you don't concede that after fighting twice at WW and one at JWW Marquez could have accustomed himself to the weight. It's clear you have an agenda there.
I also made it quite explicit why I felt the Hatton fight was a cherrypick:

How was it a cherry pick when Hatton himself called out Floyd in front of a packed arena? Hatton was undefeated and had fought at 147 before.
Marquez had NEVER fought at the welterweight limit when knocked out Pacquiao. Just because JMM gave Manny a tough fight at the lower weights does not mean he could beat Manny at the higher weights. Manny was considered as high as 9-1 favorite over Marquez before he got iced.
You're giving Manny a pass when he had more advantages over Marquez than Floyd did over Hatton.
So using your words, Floyd ducked Manny, Sergio, Margarito and P. Williams because they all called out Floyd but Floyd said NO, NO, NO and ..... NO!!!
Marquez fought Floyd who came in at 146 while Marquez squeaked in at 142lb ..... but thanks for the joke! #3, Marquez fought Manny at 144 limit and that was a close fight. So how can #4 be a cherry pick? Again, thanks for the laugh!
the only cherry pick was Floyd taking on guys like Hatton, Marquez, .... was about to take on Khan ...... IF Floyd took on Sergio, Manny, ...... then we can give Floyd a break but Floyd follows his formula to the tea BUT you guys are blind, man ....
