if floyd was to beat manny would it be considered the best win on his resume? even though it is not prime pac it will probably be considered top 2 wins i think along with oscar.
thoughts?
Fight won't happen anyway. Floyd is too concerned about his health.
This says it all. Floyd doesnt want to fight guys who are dangerous and throw a lot of punches. He doesnt want to take any punishment.
It won't mean much because Floyd waited way to long and Pacman was alrady knocked out cold and the glory of the win over a beastly pac was ruined and taken away by Marquez, like Roy Jones said why did floyd let other men take his glory or defining win that would have been remembered for ages? Roy said it best if Floyd really believed he could win and Pac was easy he would have fought him at least twice for big money if it was so easy. Beat him the first time and than have fans believing Pacman could win a rematch and beat him again in his prime, Floyd ruined his own legacy to be honest. Dude waits way too long to face opponents, he waited for Cotto to get savagely beat by Margarito and Pacman, he waited for Mosley til he was long in the tooth and inactive for nearly two years, Oscar was older and slower, He drained Canelo, and now if he fights Pacman another shot legend who took too much punishment.
This why I don't like floyd, I am fans of guys like James Toney and Ali guys who wanted to test their skills agianst the beasts, but let me qooute Floyd.
Its not about proving to the fans who the best is.
This is exactly what I said years ago. Floyd calls himself the greatest ever why wouldn't you want to be that guy to beat Pacquiao instead of someone else getting the glory.
floyd was so concerned about marquez he purposely didnt make the agreed upon weight. Cotto battered floyd and pac white washed him. Floyd went life and death with oscar and did not want to give him a rematch so he retired and manny demolished him.
a bloody nose is not considered battering, you need to watch the fight again. And pac fought oscar at a weight that he hadnt fought in 12 years a very well weight drainned and past his prime oscar, you giving pac too much credit
Fighting and beating the #3 P4P and #2 WW would sure do wonders, surely a lot better than Guerrero, Ortiz, and Maidana :lol1:
Of course that would require Floyd to drop his health concerns first.
Funny thing, name the guy who had roughly the exact same credentials, who also happened to be getting older, who Floyd get's like no respect for beating~

If Floyd beats Pac, then there should be an active suicide watch for those who idolize Pac. I don't think their feeble mind can fathom the concept and their personal lives will start to spiral out of control. And I would hate to even consider what would happen on NSB .... Total madness!

considering floyd's best win is a "diego corraless", yes a win over an over the hill pac would still be floyd's biggest win by far..
that says a lot about floyd's current resume ...it is really pretty lame

I kind of think Floyd missed the boat on this. If Floyd beats Manny it would still be huge but not as big as it would have been 3 years ago. Manny has been through so many wars.
Even though it would be about five years too late, yes, it would be the defining win for either fighter. If they don't fight, the non-fight will follow them into retirement and the "what if" will always be brought up. I mean, even if the fight were to happen tomorrow, there is still the "what if" factor considering Pac is a different fighter now than he was at his peak.
I'd compare it to Lennox Lewis beating Mike Tyson. Yeah, he beat him but Tyson was already a shell of his former self so it's more like getting partial credit on a homework assignment.

Floydiots had Marquez won all the fights against Pac and so they did against Bradley the first fight and they also thought 2nd fight was draw. LMAO! Pac destroyed Oscar, Hatton, Mosley and Cotto while Floyd went life and death against them. Not to mention how he destroyed Margarito with 17 lbs weight advantage while Floyd ducked him like a plague.
I almost forgot how Pac fought Margarito with 17 lbs advantage while pathetically he tricked a lightweight Marquez to fight at welterweight only to be weight cheated. Coward! Pac fought Marquez 4 times even though he knows Marquez was his kryptonite to his style while the coward avoided the past prime Oscar rematch bacause he almost got beaten by shot to pieces Oscar then faked his retirement.
Shameless coward whose health must comes first and doesnt want to fight what his fans want because they don't pay his bills. Admitted he is coward but a rich coward then his idiot fans are mad when someone called him a coward. LMAO.

Oscar was so washed up when he fought Floyd. PAC is not his 2008-2011 self anymore but it would be by far Floyd's best win still.
