I dont think, Im from Argentina, I dont like Maidana, I prefere Lucas Matthysse, Diego Chavez. But Maidana apart from being stuck, have a intence and amazing stamina. Khan has a lot of speed but not as good as designed, has a good defense and has a glass chin. I'm not saying that Khan would not have chances but a tough fight. I give 50 and 50. some believe that Maidana win against Klottelnik, but in my opinion Klottelnik win because they have a good defense.
Roy is the best boxer that I saw, then Leonard, Whittaker and more. I would like to withdraw, for their well being, but what you are doing now, he did not remove antes.Lo only thing it might claim to Roy are at their peak a few fights as Nigel Benn, Chris Eubank, Sven Ottke, Joe Calzaghe, Steve Collins, Michael Nunn, Dariusz Michalczewski, Lennox Lewis, Mike Tyson, Hasim Rahman, Evander Holyfield, Bernard Hopkins II, James Toney II at CW, Vassiliy Jirov, Gerald McClellan, Iran Barkley. I think if you win, 5 or 6 of these guys that I see with the only difficulty is with Lennox Lewis, Roy would be the best ever
You guys probably think I'm crazy, but who do you think would take this? After seeing Jones Jr dominate Toney I immediately put him as my #2 all-time great behind Ray Leonard, but seeing Tua destroy Ruiz in one round put me a shock for 10min.
in my list I have Roy and then ray leonard, but Tua is bery stronger 60/40 for Tua
Although the argument that boxing in jail is not the same as boxing in the Olympics/amateurs is a solid argument and does make sense for the Soapy supporters; The fact is that Roy Jones was not even in his prime yet when he beat Hopkins in 93! Jones had one more pro bout than Hopkins (21 or 22 I forgot how many exactly). Jones did indeed fought Hopkins with one hand(just watch the fight).
Other fact is, they were both young and they were both each others first real pro challenge and their first shot at a major title(IBF).
All this talk about Hopkins was green needs to stop because they were both simply untested against top opposition. Hence why it was a close fight(although a clear win for Jones). They were eachother's first challenge at a pro stage, man. That's all i'm saying.
Who ever don't agree? You know what, I guess...
ToTal agree with you, good post
Mayweathers
Jeff - World Champ
Roger - Two time World Champ
Floyd Jr - 6 time world champ and best boxer around currently
The Spinks are 2nd
Jeff was not world champion
He's just destroyed Cotto who beat Clottey before that, so... you don't make sense.
yes cotto win the fight (not in my opinion), but cotto run the lasts rounds. and clottey is not a easy fighter
I'm not saying he is an easy fighter, but as a win Cotto ranks higher since he just beat Clottey, it's not like it happened years ago, it happened recently.
I agree that the win against cotto put him above that the EU would put against Clottey, but I think by the characteristics of Clottey will be a harder fight than hatton and cotto
I think winning against Clottey would just solidify Pac's presence in WW division and whoever wins with Shane vs Floyd would mean that a mandatory fight has to happen.
I agree with you. but I think Clottey is a very difficult fight, is a very strong and resistant, cotto and margarito the best version of tubieron problems for its strength, is a boxer who does not hold back and blows. why in my opinion is a harder fight than hatton and cotto. and also I think it is more difficult for Mayweather for his boxing style that pacquiao mosley
There's been a few posted on here.
Not as many as usual but it's not exactly a mega fight or as intriguing training wise.
Yes but is greate to see the speed of Pacman
1 Andre Ward
2 David Haye/Odlanier Solis
3 Ismayl Syllakh
4 Guillermo Rigondeaux
5 Nonito Donaire
6 Jose Benavidez
7 Gennady Golovkin
8 David Haye/Odlanier Solis
9 Amir Khan
10 Gary Russell Jr
He should travel to Japan and fight Nishioka.
This is a easy fight to win a belt. Another possibility is turn down to 118 to fight Donaire, Rigo said he reached that weight
If anyone will be KO is Narvaez and not Seda. Seda has a big chance due to his big power in both hands, he needs the KO or will get robbed
Seda never faced a huracan of talent. Narvaez KO Seda in a easy fight
Nishioka would have a great chance to beat him.
It is a good fighter, I'd do it soon the fight.
But I do not see it as a difficult rival for Rigo, since in his last fight at times had problems with Muñoz, a fighter class c
Rigo beat Gamboa a few times in the amateurs, but gamboa was more active since then and adapted more to the pro game. His chances now are better.
Come fight night they should be equally heavy, I guess Rigo was heavier in their amateur days due to his size.
It is true what you say, that Rigo Gamboa defeated several times in the amateurs. And it is also true that Gamboa has more experience in professionalism.
But the style of boxing Rigon is much better, has good defense and good attack. So if you could hit Rigo Gamboa and beat with a guard, you knock out unprotected. Since the punch of Rigo Gamboa is very strong and gives grounds off guard
