Do you think anyone in the Super 6 can beat Joe Calzaghe???

I can't say with confidence that any of them would definitely beat Calzaghe, but Ward and Abraham would give him the best fights and would have a good chance.

Calzaghe would win hands down against any of the super six now in my opinion. He beat Kessler, would take out Taylor and Dirrell. Andre Ward would be tough because of his speed and power, but i'd give the fight to Joe, and Froch just leaves too many openings all the time, and although Joe probably wouldnt have the power to knock him out, he would be able to keep Froch off him and confuse him with his speed and stay away for the points.

Carl Froch is the only man of the Super 6 that can beat Calzaghe. The reason why I say this is because like Calzaghe, Carl has a high work rate. Froch's entire style is the same as Margarito. Imagine Calzaghe fighting someone who grinds out opponents like Margarito or Froch. Calzaghe doesn't look like he would win right? Because Calzaghe's game is based on throwing a billion punches, what happens when his opponent is doing the same thing and just blocks punches with his face? Calzaghe doesn't look so pretty. I dont see it. Direll would and Ward would make a mockery out of him. AA could be out worked. But Joe can be caught. Calzaghe would son all three of them, AA doesn't do enough in a fight and direll and ward would just be outworked by him.

its too early in the tourney to tell, if someone dominates this tourney than that means they beat 5-6 really good fighters, I'd give them a shot. But seriously the hate on Joe is ridiculous, i know some people love him so much you want to hate him, but the guy was really really good.

Ward can win easy vs the best Calzaghe, Dirrell can complicate Joe but never win, the others I dont give a chance

we know what happened with kessler, i think cal wud school froch due to froch lunging with long shots, cal wud sit in the pocket like he did with jones jr, i think he wud outclass abraham cos i think hes overrated and dont think he cud adjust to cals strange style, i think the best fighter in S6 is ward and i thing tht wud be a very hard fight for joe but as a fan of him i think id put my money on him tbh

Anyone saying Froch or Abraham are mad. Calzaghe is quite mobile, and has a damn tough chin if you do manage to land clean much so isn't being KO'd. So how do Froch and Abraham whose punch out put and speed is half Calzaghe's, get a decision? Ward's the only one and I still think he's just an exciting quick sound technical guy that would struggle late on and lose. But hey, he's the best thing since sliced bread in one fight, so peeps will prob wish, I mean say he'd beat Joe. He doesn't though.

(CONTROL AND TIMING) hopkins did a good job with this and calzaghe barely escaped with a split decision LOL ward and dawson would kick calzaghes ass. i actually think that calzaghe won't be fighting any of these guys though because he isn't gonna come out of retirement. Yeah Hopkins did a good job but came up a hair short. And Im not sure Ward beats that version of Hopkins either.
