In the history of who ducked who I will bet my retirement savings that in 30 years boxing fans will unanimously agree Floyd *****ed out in every possible way he can.
I have no problem blaming everyone involved, they all screwed us over once they realized they could sell big without each other. The reason so many of Pacquiao's more ardent supporters have to 100% blame Floyd is obvious.
If the Pac diehards don't 100% blame Floyd it means they would have to accept that in at least one negotiation Pacquiao ran away from the fight over drug testing. Think of the ramifications of that. The guy they look at as this almighty and invincible superhero...skipped out on the biggest fight of his career, at least once, because of more stringent drug testing.
Drug testing unheard of in pro boxing and only asked specifically from Pacquiao by a scaredy cat.
So....NO. Pac did not refuse stringent drug testing. Matter of fact, to prove he wanted the fight he moved the goal post 20,000 times just to accomodate Floyd's stupid requests only to be told "nah-ah-ah, that deal is expired."
Stupid fuccking floyd.
Everybody knows Arum is head and shoulders above anybody else in clout, experience, and renown as a promoter.
Pac is a Politician. Heck Arum even went to the Philippines to campaign for him. Do you think he would leave Arum for any reason as shallow as money? Pac is not Floyd you Flows should have got it by now. If anyone in America can sell Manny to become president of the Philippines it's not Oscar, or King, or any small time promoter. It's Arum who can sell garbage for top dollar.
They swear Tim just let Ruslan pound him for the f*ck of it. But if u say Ruslan let Tim try to outbox him in hopes of eventually landing the big shot and finishing him, your a f*cking idiot. Lol I will love to see slick boxers go thru what Tim did and "school" Ruslan. Yeah, what a schooling.... Got sent flying across the ring, did a back flip, slurred speech and couldn't walk straight for months.
Funny how the champion emerged as the one in a wheelchair black and blue in one fight and in his next fight was the one who had a concussion, knocked down 3x, and whose speech was slurring. Used to be judges score the loser as the one who were more beat up. Just like school fights.
Ruslan is the very type of guy to make a Floyd Mayweather go on indefinite vacation.
What I hope and really beg to happen is for Bob to let Prov go like a master letting go of his Siberian husky to wander into the woods of Golden Boy. I bet GB would pick him up but Floyd would be locked inside the house carrying a cross and stake.
Provo's style sucks you in to a toe to toe fight. No one can "move" away constantly for 12 rounds.
With Prov's new confidence in himself he will only get better and more dangerous. Meanwhile Bradley's skill has reached its limit and still got away with his life on the Provo fight.
But this talk is meaningless, Bradley would never seek out Prov again. Too many money fights are out there than a Provo rematch.
When it's all said and done history will be very kind to Floyd. He will go down as the best of this era and rated as a very high ATG. He's just hated right now
If he is vilified now for ducking Pacquiao magnify that by at least 10x over and you will have an idea how much Pacquiao leaves Mayweather behind any ATG ranking.
Barely beat an old Dela Hoya and you have the nerve to suggest him as GOAT?
Being undefeated is over rated in boxing. Every fan should know that by now.
Ive seen videos of SRR robinson and ya thats not gonna happen.
Most say SRR's prime was before video so thats just a myth entirely. So how can you really say that he beats floyd
I've also seen Armstrong's fights on youtube. The eye test tells me he brutalizes Armstrong in 2 rounds like Hatton.
I've seen his bio on youtube I was amazed how many parallelisms he and Pacquiao has.
Like the huge entourage, the many businesses, women, both dabbled in movies, weight class hopping, both came up from nothing, and as you said the ID thing...Pacquiao had to put weight plates in his pocket at weigh in to qualify as a professional boxer as he was both under aged and underweight for the class.
Stuff legendary champs are made of.
According to some people, with Ariza's shakes, Rios should be able to destroy Pac... unless Ariza shakes only work on Pac
Just like Floyd has PEDS designed not to be screened by USADA?
Mosley, Ortiz, Cotto, Guerrero, and Canelo.
I laugh at your list. We all know Floyd fought all of them because there was something so defective about them at the points of their careers.
Before Manny, JMM was recognized as one of the 3 main Mexicans beside Morales and Barrera. But after the Pacquiao draw, did he get bigger? No, he went to Indonesia and got beat by Chris John, an unknown. Just look at the fighters on JMM\s resume when is not fighting Pacquiao, they are at best B fighters. The only way he got Floyd and Barrera was because of the link to Pacquiao. You could say the same with Bradley.
So it isn't boasting to claim Marquez's dad is Pacquiao.
There is something about seeing Pacquiao train these days. He's almost looking like the Feather and Superfeather Pac in training. Very light, lean cuts, and just a ball of energy. I think Rios face will get mangled in Macau. Poor young man.
It's a no brainer. The guy who prizes himself out is scared. Just like Lewis is scared of Klitschko therefore prizing himself out or making sure he still wins money wise even if he loses in the ring.
Same sh1t with Floyd gay, or I mean Joy.
Juan Manuel Marquez cannot fight going forward, he sucks with pressing fights, he also never blocks punches he only has one mode to constantly back up and fight with the matador style using three punch combos to keep you back, he never clinches either. Just side step three punch counter.
Marco Antonio Barrera and Erik Morales had more dimensions than Marquez.
Pacman is called a one dimensional boxer because he had tough fights with Marquez. Well Pacman is the Bull to Marquez Matador, just because one fighter has someones number doesn't mean that fighter is one dimensional.
Marquez had trouble with slick black fighters like Floyd and Bradley, Pacman beat Bradley and this was a half interested pacman who wasn't even top shape. Pacman was able to compete with the speed of Bradley and not get hit either people keep saying pacman has no defense but he looked pretty good in that fight and he wasn't even trying. Pacman has the basic Flaws like lunging, and dropping his hands, but he still has more tricks and ways to fight opponents than Marquez does. All Marquez can do is hope for a super aggressive guy so he can counter punch him while stepping back.
Ruslan did better than Marquez because in order to have a shot with Bradley you have to apply pressure with him, does that mean Ruslan is better than Marquez? nope but they are both one dimensional guys, Ruslan only can press a fight, he can't box circles or counter off the back foot, just like JMM cannot pressure fight he can only box off the back foot.
Pacman is not a shoulder roll slickster but he has shown more dimensions than Marquez, the racist Floyd fans like to point out that pacman stumbles and lunges once in a while, and never give credit to his unorthodox moves but he has shown that he can box and brawl and pressure fight and box off the back foot.
Pacman boxed circles around David Diaz and Oscar, he out brawled Margarito and boxed him on the back foot with counter punches. I have only seen Marquez box off the back foot and never seen him pressure fight.
Pacmans Attention Deficit Disorder and super furious style, it makes him abandon a patient game plan and this is how he loses but he has show he can be patient like when he fought Oscar, he boxed him beautifully.
My exact assessment of Pacquiao and Marquez. Good post!
Anyone remember in the 24/7 Marquez and Memo (M&Ms) throwing medicine balls? I've never seen anyone train with so much rage. Marquez is definitely symptomatic of steroid rage.
These fat boys are Pacmans current strength and conditioning coaches, if Pacman beats Rios who has Ariza with these guys in his corner are these guys the new it guys? LMAO they even have a hard time taking off the gloves, this is why I am even more confident that Rios will win

These fat boys were Pacman's boyhood mates. Even Koncz don't have the level of trust Manny has on these boys.
That will be Bradley's worst decision. He should make an all out effort in making the Mayweather fight. Because if he chooses Pac, he will lose for sure and the Mayweather door is forever closed.
Pacquiao is definitely talented, but he can't be as multidimensional as you claim considering that in four tries he's been unable to get a victory over Marquez without help from the judges, and was knocked out cold in the last fight. The thing is, Pac has natural advantages over Marquez like his blazing hand and foot speed which match up well against Bradley. Nevertheless, Marquez managed to neutralize Pac's physical advantages with his superior technique and intellect.
And although Marquez lost last night, let's not forget that we're talking about a 40 year old veteran who'd shown signs of decline and had become more stationary since his move up to lightweight, but to his credit, he was able to make adjustments to remain competitive, which many fighters are unable to do. Fighters who rely heavily on their physical abilities tend to decline dramatically once they begin to slow down physically-- I don't think it's a coincidence that Pac tripped face first into Marquez's counter in his last fight after complaining of leg problems in previous fights.
At any rate, perhaps we would have seen a different outcome last night if this had been a younger and fresher version of Marquez. Nevertheless, he gave a respectable performance all things considered.
All the more you should give Pacquiao props for winning 2 of 4 fights against Marquez. Pacquiao fought Marquez at Marquez's deadliest style and form and yet won 2 of 4 (should've been 3 of 4 if it wasn't for a nincompoop judge). Even Floyd fought on the backfoot against Marquez and the few times he didn't Marquez scored big shots.
