The card is as Follows: Floyd Expected to fight Guerrero (Expected)

Thats what was on the bottom of Sports Center...just now!!!!

guerrero did what he had to the hard way and earned his right to get a fight with fmj. he's the #1 contender with an interim wbc '47lb championship belt and fmj holds the full version. do the math

Well the way he got to be the interim champion was bullsh*t. All u gotta do is be Mexican and u will get a crack at being their interim or full champion.
so his win vs aydin was bs? i thought he beat him fair and square. i dont get your rebuttal. and not sure if your response regarding being mexican is damn near racist or just worded poorly........
outcome wont be any different than the 1st fight in trms of fmjs domination. only this time I see him koing jmm

he beat siri like nobody ever has. damn near made him look amatuerish. stop with the hate already. fight was stopped and mikey won. would it have been better for him to go the distance....yeah, but sh.it happens in boxing. besides I honestly dont think it wouldve made a difference had. it gone on, mikey wouldve ended up dropping him a few more times before ko'ing the old vato

its a no brainer
unless you are a hater. Donaire has the better record and has fought better opponents. i like the kid Mares too but i think at this point Nonito is thee man in the division
duboff takes over and meaningful fights happen. what people either dont know or fail to realize is todd is that not only is he arums son N law, but he is a shrewd and very smart man. he'll do whats best for top rank but will make the fights that NEED to happen!

ghost has earned his way to the top unlike a lot of fighters. props to him for doing it the old fashioned way! hoping for a great and classic fight on Cinco weekend! may the best man win......

If they have already signed a contract for a future fight, he should go back down to 147. Fight Guerrero, a guy who "earned" his shot and is still fresh in fan's minds.
But, Floyd ain't the type to take tune-ups. He's gonna fight guys who either bring $$$ or name value. The guys that fit the requirements are Martinez/Canelo/Pac/Alexander (if the fight is in STL). Hell, if Josesito beats Canelo, maybe he'll be in the running to fight Floyd, never know.
I'd like to see FMJ & Ghost....also getting rid of one too many belts is a good thing too
If Lopez beats Alvarez and Ortiz, he will have earned it even more than Ortiz did by beating Berto, hands down. Still, Alvarez is going to crush Lopez on size alone.
If Pac-JMM IV is made for November, than I really wouldn't mind seeing Floyd fight Bradley in Nov/Dec as a "tune-up" like fight. It'd be another win over a Top prime fighter around his weight.
That'd be a good one too, FMJ vs Bradley although i see Bradley getting ktfo!
And he is always in shape. He eats like crap, and trains himself. He does the same basic workout routine of dumbell shadow boxing circuits, neck harness reps with 25 pound weight, chin ups, dips, and get ups for abs, and ended with Jump rope.
Every other boxer seems to have a fancy strength trainer and nutritionist but Floyd eats junk food and does his own circuit routines.
Are strength/conditioner/nutritionists overrated? Does plain hardwork and old school training trump all?
IMO i think fighters who have ahard time making weight(cutting) or keeping weight on need them. For guys like FMJ, who stay in shape year around, they dont...
Incase anyone missed it, there was an Azerbaijan -vs- Japan bantamweight bout today at the London Olympics. It saw the AZE fighter knocked down multiple times in the 3rd round without receiving an 8 count, and it appeared he was not fit to continue. The fighter who should have been stopped, shockingly won the decision..
Teddy Atlas mentioned he was aware of a report regarding Azerbaijan paying 9 million USD to AIBA in return for 2 gold medals at the London Olympics. I apologize if I have any of these details incorrect. I just happened to google what Atlas said and here is what came up. The article is old, but I think now in light of the AZE/JAP olympic travesty, maybe this will be looked more into. Here it is:
http://www.allvoices.com/contributed-news/10437569-azerbaijan-used-9-million-to-buy-two-olympic-gold-medals
AIBA has since overturned the fight:
Dan Rafael @danrafaelespn
They did the right thing. AIBA overturned result of Satoshi Shimizu (Japan)-Magomed Abdulhamidov (Azerbaijan) bantamt bout. Shimuzu advances
But these Olympic rules and how they're being administered is madness. Common sense would dictate that after this blatant incompetence/corruption? Olympic boxing should see some level of reform now.
Please discuss
yeah bro, i saw it too...kid was dropped 6 times and the rules state the fight should bve stopped after a 3rd kd. These refs for boxing in the olypics have been blowing it!
Isn't that about average for a BAD? I know WCB cards average around 1 million+ viewers, but BAD cards don't get nearly as much promotion and usually get lower ratings.

this right here......
The thug advocacy on this forum is ridiculous. So is the hatred for the Garcias.
I guess its OK to confront a 50yo man in a hotel lobby. What about a street confrontation? Is that OK too? Since most of you seem to think that mere words are an excuse for that type of reaction. You are the same people that moan about things that are bad for boxing. Hypocrites.
Personally I don't agree with Angels Garcia's penchant for bad mouthing opponents, but that is within a civilized forum (press conferences) that is held to help promote and self the fight. He is actually funny and creates excitement. CEO of GBP Richard Schaefer gets a kick out of it and he is about as professional as they come in boxing.
Bottom line is that a 35 yo "professional" boxer could have handled the situation better. And you so called boxing fans, instead of digging in on Angel Garcia out of hatred for the man, should be disapproving of any type of confrontation like what took place in the lobby. That could have gotten real bad. But most of you would rather bad mouth Angel.
Some of you go as far as to vouch for Judah's street reputation. *****h PLEASE. This is the same person that cries after he quits in one on one battles with other men. And evident by his behavior during and after this press conference, he is a troubled person that could use some visits on the couch. All that reputation talk is garbage.
If Judah is so stressed out, by mere words from a 50 yo man, that he is willing to through away what might be his last big paycheck by assaulting the opposition in a hotel lobby, then by all means call the fight off. Call it off/quit Judah--you are used to it and the chances that you quit Feb. 9th are pretty good anyways.
The Garcias take out the trash on 2-9-2013
get over it, just like broner said, anyone can get it....if a 50 yo man wanna talk ish like a youngsta, he better be ready for reppurcussions, end of story. i dont condone what either of them said, but when it comes down to it, its put up or shut up.
Pac/marquez
reagardless of what the haters think have had one of the best trilogies in awhile. not sure why people hate, especially since theyve all been good fights, but you know how haters are, just like b . i .t. c. h. e. s, gotta complain about something!!!!
U sure u weren't smoking crack while you were watching that ? Crack cocaine is cocaine in its purest form even if u could break a rock down and snort it you'll more than likely die or at the very least not have a good time.
only thing i burn is the yerba buena homie.......just posting what i saw on tv son!
For whatever it's worth, Angel says that after this fight, all his fighters will submit to WADA testing, all year round.
wada, f that, how bout VADA since we know wada and usada give waiver exemptions to those who fail their tests.......
Lol ok, I thought so. I mean I don't know sh-t about drugs, but I know that much. You can't snort crack.
just saw a documentry and these white kids in the MW were snorting that ish all day!!!
Some fighters just give you problems, and Castillo in many ways fought like a lesser version of Chavez.
they didnt call him the poo mans' Chavez for nothin! and he was Chavez' top sparring partner for years, so i feel you!!!!!
have watched this fight too many times
and i think it could have gone either way in a very close fight, but in the end i thought castillo put in more work and should have won at worst a sd, but thats just my opinion
