He has good sized biceps at this age from catching punches on the mits. Most trainers have decent arms regardless of age for this reason.

Who in here thinks that he only eats junk food? We've seen him drink a Mountain Dew here and there but I don't think he ate all the stuff he was showing to the cameras on 24/7. It's part of his persona. Of course he eats healthy.

You can get in real good shape doing the simplest stuff, to really push yourself is the key.
Lots of people hire conditioning coaches or nutritionists as a way to try to take a short cut but that is completely missing the ball, they are really just tools to be used to help push your limits.
It is all about hard work and preparing for the worst case scenario~

I know one thing...on 24/7, he does some of the simplest stuff (jump rope, pull-ups, dumb bell shadow boxing, etc), while his opponents are taped training like barbarians and drinking urine.
Im sure he does waaaay more than that, but it's the way the stuff is edited. As for his diet, maybe he does eat junk. He's said it before, but who knows...I tend to not lean towards everything he says.
He doesn't eat junk food like that from what his chef said. What he does eat bad I guess he's in such good shape it is like a drop in the ocean in terms of what bad it would do.
It is probably just down to staying consistent. Where other boxers would take the opportunity inbetween fights to totally pile out he knows how to place limits on himself for whatever bad he does inbetween fighting.
He hired Leonard Ellerbe as his strength and conditioning coach I believe. And he may still be under that title as well as his financial adviser.
He's more of a motivator now though.

IMO i think fighters who have ahard time making weight(cutting) or keeping weight on need them. For guys like FMJ, who stay in shape year around, they dont...
