God forbid Bob Arum passed away out of nowhere, what would happen in your opinion?
Who takes over?
Do you think TR would end its beef with GoldenBoy?
Would his passing be good for boxing?
Food for thought :boxing: :boxing: :boxing:

Top Rank would go on and still be a problem to deal with, just like Cuba.
That other dude takes over, I forget his name.
But he's more than willing to work with GBP so it would (hopefully) pretty much end the beef right there.
what beef? there is none remember

I believe that there would be the biggest funeral ever held in the state of Nevada. People would come from all over the world to pay their respects. The man has been putting on great fights since he signed Muhammed Ali. He promoted about 25 of his fights.
I don't know anything about DuBoeuf, but Arum said a few years back that he had taken over mren and more of the day-to-day running of the business and was learning well. He may be right, because nobody is indisoensable.
You don't seem to realise that Top Rank is the greatest innovator in the history of boxing promotion. Their (I almost wrote "there") recent move into China is a good example.
Perhaps people will feel the same about your funerals.....
NSB would be all

Top Rank would begin to fade a bit, it wouldn't be noticeable at first because it is a well set up company but there is no mouthpiece that can replace Arum or get away with what he does and that will hurt them over the long haul.
Fight promotion is a science and an art, I think DeBouf and crew perfectly get the science of it but the art is much tougher to pick up.
A triple rainbow(that's right I said it, TRIPLE RAINBOW!!!) would appear in the sky, followed by a huge weight being lifted off the shoulders of every boxing fan in the world. Unicorns would then emerge offering free rides to boxing events, Tupac and Elvis would come out and announce they are indeed not dead, the Loch ness monster would then sign a promotional agreement and fight contract to take on King Kong. All would be right in the world.
duboff takes over and meaningful fights happen. what people either dont know or fail to realize is todd is that not only is he arums son N law, but he is a shrewd and very smart man. he'll do whats best for top rank but will make the fights that NEED to happen!
