What about Winky Wright? I think Roy should call him out. Roy would beat him. Winky doesn't have any power for Roy to worry about. Joe C. beats Roy easy. Oscar fight isn't happening....ever. Hopkins would make sense but IMO it would be boring. Taylor and Pavlik I'm not sure. I think because of their power they could hurt Roy, but I can also see Roy winning decisions against both. If I had to bet, I say they beat Roy. I'm not a big Roy fan, but if he wants to beat a fighter with a name, I say it should be Winky.

I been wondering the same thing. I remember Oscar and Tyson (I use them because they are the biggest money makers in the last two decades) fighting often and not every fight being a huge event. Oscar had Patrick Charpentier and Darryl Tyson among others. Tyson had Tony Tubbs and even Buster Douglas who was a 42-1 underdog and everybody said the fight was going to be a joke. The point is they were active. Now you got somebody like Floyd who only wants to fight strictly for $$$. I'm not a Floyd fan, but I wouldn't mind watching him fight more often. It was the same with Pernell Whitaker. I didn't like him but I would always tune in when he fought. That's why I don't mind Cotto-Gomez or DLH-Forbes, at least they're fighting. I guess some fighters heads get too big and they only care about $$$. Who cares about the fans right?

If it's what I think it is, I've seen it. It's a documentary about his popularity and how it affected his personal life. JC jr. Omar, JMM, D. Zaragoza, Sulaiman, and "Chiquita" Gonzalez are on it. I seen it on youtube under "Chavez Documentary". The show was called "Verdad y Fama" which someone already mentioned before me.

It was a close fight. Judging by most peoples opinions there was no clear winner. So to have it 118-110 is stupid. Just goes to show that dumb ass judges have always been there and will always be there.

I used to always watch big fights alone. Now that my brother is a little older we watch them together. He loves boxing. Reminds me of myself when I was his age(15). Tomorrow it will be us and two of my friends at my house. This is one of those fights I only watch with people that know their boxing. Eat, drink, watch the fights and then go out and party with some girls after. Doesn't get any better than that.

It actually works out for me. I live in California and with DirectTV and all the channels I have (HBO, HBO2, HBOW, HBO2W, SHO, SHO2, SHOW) I can actually watch one right after the other. For example I saw Margarito/Cintron and Cotto/Gomez on HBO from 7-9 and then Dawson/Johnson and Tarver/Woods from 9-11 on Showtime. It was like a free pay-per-view. Even though I left about 4 rounds into the Tarver fight because it was putting me to sleep.

I seen Toney on 6/13 at a boxing event in L.A. He looked like he was in good shape. I was expecting him to be bigger since the fight was still a month away. Maybe he will be in better shape than he has been in a while.

I used to enjoy watching him fight. One of my fav fights was when he fought Kelly. I always had a feeling he wouldn't be able to beat the top guys who at that time were Barrera and Morales.

James Toney has the best Chin I agree. I don't ever think I've seen him even remotely hurt. That whole Roy Jones "knockdown" he was off balance. I don't think Guzman has fought enough big punchers to say he has the beat chin.

PBF used to be my fav fighter since he dismantled chico (RIP) and I remember first seeing him fight in baby blue trunks (dont remember who he fought) and was like damn this kids got skill. I used to tell everyone PBF is f n sick and uncontainable and they didnt even know who he was, so life went on. To the point, PBF was my fav for a long time and he decided to become "money may" and decided not to fight the best........then retired. I always watched cotto fights cuz they were great entertainment, and my puerto rican boy was always cotto cotto. I was like shut up, PBF will mop his stationary as up. When he dismantled zab, I became a fan because cotto always wanted to fight the best/toughest and was humble about his victories. Then he fought shane, which i score 8 rds to 4, maybe im biased. He was fighting top oppostion, old or not shane got hands and can trouble a lot of ego trippin contenders or champs. Where is PBF, excuse me Money May??? Cleans up Hatton, and golden johnson, i mean oscar (millies hot) and is done, so I scrapped him. Don't sweat the fight order. PBF should have called out everyone from welter and put them on his hit list, feed your fuckin fans!!!! Cotto supplied his fans fight food for their boxing hunger with good action packed fights and after he keeps goin to next fight and takes care of the fans. My main problem is him saying he's gonna go toe to toe and then doesn't. He can fight however he wants to win fights, more power to him. Just don't say you're gonna do something else. There's plenty of guys who I never liked their style (Cory Spinks, Pernell Whitaker, just to name a couple) But they didn't say "I'm gonna got toe to toe, this is gonna be a war!" They said something like "I'm gonna beat him" or "I'm gonna box his socks off" (which I think Spinks said) All I'm saying is don't front. Floyd should've said "I'm gonna be hitting and moving all night and there's not a damn thing you can do about it." Who knows, that might've gotten him more respect. The other thing is, just because you know you can beat somebody, and the fans know you can beat somebody, doesn't mean you shouldn't fight him. Prove it in the ring.

I have a question for those who say Margarito is nothing and he's not that good. Fine let's say that's true. That leads me to my question.........Who has Paul Williams beat? Remember Margarito sucks so beating him doesn't mean anything......right? It comes down to "what have you done lately?" Fact is on July 26th Miguel Cotto was seen as the best welterweight in the world, not Paul Williams, and Margarito beat him. Margarito doesn't need PW. Clottey called out Marg, not PW. Mosley called out Marg, not PW. Even PW is calling out Marg. Why? Because he's the champ. That's just the way it is.

Mosley's never cared who you put in front of him. Him and Margarito, I think Margarito wins by decision. I like Mosley a lot, always have. I just think Margarito would outhustle him. But I wouldn't be shocked if Mosley won by decision. I don't see a ko either way. I really hope this fight happens.

I hope so, because it doesn't make any sense for a fighter to assign someone to be his advisor just because the guy has a boxing website. If it's that easy I might as well start my own website.

I like Margarito. I think he's better than some think but I'm not all on his nuts. He's not a mexican god that's for sure.

I thought it was close. First half for Jr. second half for Vanda. What pissed me off was the 100-90 score. That score spells bullshit and I hate it when a fight gets overshadowed by it. As for Jr. as much as I want him to be a major force, I just don't see it happening. He needs to box instead of trying to fight like his father.

That's why there is so many boxing ppv's. If they did it the UFC way at least one other top rank name would be on the undercard. Why couldn't Pavlik fight Gary Lockett on the undercard instead of being the main event on HBO. All these promoters spread the fighters out and have them on different ppv's and hbo telecasts. In the UFC you get two or three big names on each ppv. What sucks about it is that there plenty of people just like me that like UFC but will keep on being loyal to boxing and not jump ship.
