This will probably be Manny's hardest fight lmao, somewhere B-Hop is praying that Manny takes this fight and loses so we will forget about Joe Smith Jr lmao.
I chose Wilder but that is with strings attached, clearly Wilder needs to work on stamina and not rely on power alone.
I like Wilder but he has to keep working if he wants to be a force that lasts an era and not just a season.
Right now, I still think Wlad beats Wilder right now and I don't even like Wlad, that being said I still think he can keep Wilder on the end of that jab until Wilder gasses out.
No Holyfield was viewed as shot coming into the fight. The rematch IMO was among the last great PPV super fights. The world stood still for that fight and it was viewed as competitive, unlike Lewis vs Tyson.
I also thought the second fight was alot better, Mike started doing better and then bit his ear off lmao. But the fight was huge and it was competitive and had high drama with the world watching, it was Mike tyson so the crazy ending with all the viewers made it classic.
I don't remember people feeling cheated as much as they seem to with some of the other big fights mentioned, it was a spectacle and will always be viewed as a crazy fight.
Tyson even against lewis at least tried to get off some shots and went after him and somehow I respected Mike for taking the ass whooping like a man and being humble and showing Lewis respect after the fight.
Wilder & Khan are both taking fights that are meaningless and expecting full credit. Briggs even at his age would be more interesting. I like Wilder but if I ride Wlad for taking bum fights then I have to be fair and say Wilder is really doing the same.
I like ward but my answer is not really, I expect him to beat both fairly easily. Ward is hard to look good against and will likely make both seem like b level guys. Once neither can land anything solid, they will be frustrated and out pointed by the smarter fighter. GGG gets destroyed which is why he won't even consider the fight.
Wlad simply because he always has every advantage and still fights scared, never once have I seen him go in for the kill like a mad man. he gets KO's but his level of opponents is really horrid, yet he still fights as though he may be killed at any second.
Khan is built on hype like LIL G no way he takes a real fight, he will lose but only for a big check and alot of attention, god forbid he earn a money fight.
As a Floyd fan, I would have been much more pleased if Manny would have just postponed if he does in fact have an injury that requires surgery and possibly a year of recovery.
I wouldn't have clowned him at all, had they been transparent and showed he was injured and that he was getting the surgery. If that had happened, then Floyd would have been the one the fans would expect to wait and fight Manny at 100%.
Manny cheated his fans and more over boxing, I am not sure I can justify a rematch unless its a Superbowl like event of boxing on network TV for free. That's not hate it's honest, people on both sides paid alot of money and waited a long time, so for manny to not be up front about a possible serious injury before we all dropped 100 on this fight, is a problem.
Yes, this is the biggest test of manny's life, if he somehow wins the fight, he will be crowned king of everything and even his singing will improve, thats how big of a fight this is for Manny.
That should hold manny over, no amount of praise will ever be enough to truly capture what a huge win for the world this will be if manny can win this fight, manny will save us all if he can just win this one fight, thereby deeming him a superhero perhaps even god himself.
I'd bet Haye against, Joshua Wilder or Fury. Speed and style would be a problem for any of these huge sloppy fighters, thus haye will never get any of those fights ever.
After Saturday I don't think his power is enough to beat ward...ward will make it ugly and Hopkins didn't actually use any tactics that would have been useful against a fighter like him...ward will and has more energy, Ward wins a UD to me.
Possible Rios is a bit a punching bag himself, if Bradley looks good on D and Rios thinks he can take them and win later maybe. Matteyesse biggest problem was always that he let guys off the hook, he would have them in trouble and let them get back to it and start another fight, instead of finishing it. he had zab & devon in position and let them off the hook, then they survived made him miss and got a card, still Matteyesse fault, he had name fighters in big trouble and let them off the hook and it cost him, last night somebody banked on that aspect of his fight game and won big. Rios is a name with no real huge wins or spectacular performances to justify him being the name he is, Bradley could beat the **** out of him truth be told, if he is allowed to headbutt in an action fight he for surely gets him out of there via tko or stoppage.
Nah, Broner needs to stay low key and get some W's and leave the talking and antics for somebody else, he is one loss away from being done. However, if he wins some decent fights and minds his business, it will make him way more money and open up more doors for him. His old blueprint led him to where he is now, he must re-invent the wheel to thrive or die riding the old gimmick til the wheels fall off.
Everybody on the hype train must close their eyes and pray that he just goes away lmao. Boxing fans should be ashamed to want a guy to retire so an unproven fighter can declare himself king.
The thing is a fighter like Sven Ottke is always critisised for never fighting outside of Germany but Floyd Mayweather never left the US and didn't even fight outside of Vegas for over a decade.
The home advantage both fighters had throughout their careers was easy to see too. I wasn't putting Ottke on the same level as Floyd, just mentioning this particular similarity.
The U.S. is like the major leagues though, if a fighter really wants to make a name and some money and prove greatness they gotta go to vegas, I see what you mean though, the biggest issue now is fighters from both sides are so worried about getting robbed that they don't want to do it.
When a fighter does go overseas and wins a huge fight, the magnitude of the fighters win will be rewarded by boxing fans, but as of now no one seems to want to do it at all. Floyd was just lucky in the sense that he was so good he didn't have to do stuff like that and sadly for him most of the American fans don't like him anyway. if Floyd would have fought Hatton in the UK I bet he would have made more than he did with manny if he got gate and ppv money on top of his purse. So this wasn't about dickriding Floyd but more just a point that because he was so great and was in a position to dictate his terms he was able to fight where he wanted.
The thing is a fighter like Sven Ottke is always critisised for never fighting outside of Germany but Floyd Mayweather never left the US and didn't even fight outside of Vegas for over a decade.
Yet Floyd is known world wide and that guy i just some guy who fights in Germany, the difference is very easy to see.
No because everyone know lower case g has no quality wins and is known for taking step aside money and not fighting anyone despite being 33 ****ing years old. The excuse would be that lower case g was a nobody custom built for Floyd to beat. If they really wanted that fight they would have taken atleast one fight to make it seem reasonable and its not.
Fight ward or **** off!!!!!
