Close fight, i'd have it 60 % in Wards favour. It goes the distance.

The thing is people say ward is a younger version of BHOP. And i agree he is. But also we are not factoring Kovalaev held back. he carried bhop and only fought in spurts. The 8th round and 12th round imo were kovalev going at it almost 100 percent. Ward is very strong in the clinch, but as Kovalev showed he can fight inside to. But the main thing is wards activity, hes fought absulute bums at 168, since 2011, and not fought over a year. what makes you think hes not rotting his skills away??? Fight wont happen imo. Might as well save your breath. It's clear. These guys will lick the piss from Ward's member if they could get their mouths near it.

Wards a much younger, stronger version, of Hopkins. But that's a bad thing in this fight, sergey completely nullifies that style. I can't see anything ward can do to win a round. Sergey showed, repeatedly, that he can use distance and roll out to avoid that bull rush these guys employ. It's a bad style match up for ward. Kovalev showed he doesn't have to engage to dominate. Kovalev got Hopkins good. I dunno what ya talking about "hardly touched him" ??? But to answer your question, Ward doesn't have the Hopkins chin, can't match the guns. Sorry. Losing 12rounds is the blue prints WTF i think the real blueprint is the blake caparello fight. just do what blake did and knock kovalev down over and over. easy.

If you think Joe Calslappy could slap his way to victory against Kovalev. Ward shouldn't have any trouble Schooling Kovalev. Ward is a more active punch thrower than Hopkins. Kovalev hardly touched Hopkins. If anything Hopkins showed Ward the blueprint to beating Kovalev. His defense was giving Kovalev major problems all night. Ward is a faster, stronger, more durable, more offensive version of hopkins who can fight on the inside and isn't 50 years old. Losing 12rounds is the blue prints WTF
