Duran would just be too nasty for Thurman. And like someone said above,Duran would kill Thurman when he comes lunging in like he likes to do.And smile/sneer at him the whole time while doing it.
margarito never ever fought to his size advantage, ever. floyd does, almost always in fact. he knows how to use his range advantage. horrible comparison.
I agree. It's 2 completely different styles.Comparing Mayweather and Margarito is like comparing fire and ice.
Regardless of whoever wins it would be great to see them fight Parker or Wilder.Better yet Wilder vs Parker and the winner of that meets the winner of AJ vs WK but that won't happen.Anyone think we'll see a unified heavyweight champ anytime soon?
Wladimir Klitschko, pre-Steward, WAS a brutal and exciting fighter. Offensively oriented.
Many uneducated fans would be shocked to learn that after the first 20 or so fights, Wladimir had never been past 6 rounds before having KO'ed every single opponent, most often in a round or 2!
This is much better performance than even Tyson!
Of course, viewed over entire career and given that Wladimir's style is for most less impressive to watch, of course Tyson is the more visually stimulating.
Compared to today's Wlad, it's not even a question though.I remember the Mercer fight. These days with Wlad it's all clutch, grab, hold and dance
That's exactly what Pavlik should do.Box again and turn what's left of his brain into oatmeal soup.Maybe he could get them to put him in the same funny farm that Jermaine Taylor is in next time he gets in trouble.Wouldn't that be something if Pavlik and Taylor were room mates? Now that would make a hell of a movie or tv sitcom. The Ghost with Bad Intentions.I can see it now, they plot their escape and break out of the nut house and go on a crime spree while on the run.
i wont say lucky punch as he had it coming. but to everyone commenting about keeping the hands up and all that. notice martinez has both his hands down as well. little sloppy on both if you ask me.
Sergio knew exactly what he was doing,he was inviting/daring Williams in
Both were good fights but Martinez/Williams was more shocking......plus it was good to see Martinez even the score and leave no room for doubt this time.I like Pac,but was there really any doubt he would lose to Margarito?
Why does Pacquiao apologize to a man who I doubt would apologize if he could hit Pacquiao more often and beat Pacquiao up like he did to Cotto? Pacquiao is in a sport where he has to do the hurting or he will get hurt, he better never forget that. If Pacquiao shows remorse to Floyd, Floyd will take advantage of that.
And Floyd would never have been able to inflict that kind of punishment on Margs
