... Said he's sorry to Margarito himself, his wife Michelle, and the whole team Marg. What a class above the rest Manny is. :usa2:
http://www.abs-cbnnews.com/sports/11/16/10/pacquiao-apologizes-margarito-after-win
You know whats really cheesy? Going on stream making racists rants on a person then apologizing lol.
for hurting him and for what he put his family through.
This might just be a game to you guys behind your computer screens, but it's very real to the fighters.
At the end of the day, it's just a sport- it's just their job. No need to carry feelings.(though many do- and it drives many crazy)
by doing that, Pac was basically saying " I respect you." And who wouldn't? Margarito showed more heart than I have ever seen.
Edit: sorry if anyone thinks i'm nuthugging pac and following everything he does. It's not that, it's just that Filipinos are taught this type of mindset- respect and consideration for others is number 1, unless they disrespect you, then it's war.
It''s not that filipinos are acting like pac, it's that pac is acting like a filipino.
Really this is real??? I didnt know that...Again this is boxing not ballet dancing, Apologying for beating him up? WTF? This is too cheesy fvck that, He was paid to do a job if he didnt Margarito would have taken his head off.. Yes you can have respect for your opponent but apologying for what?? Too cheesy..
He's trying to be kind but I think it's actually a bit insulting to apologize. It doesn't feel good to be pitied especially by the person who just beat your ass on purpose.
Pac cheated on his wife.
I honestly don't know if he's had an affair or not, that's between God, Manny and his family.
"Sanctification" is a process. This means that Christians still sin but there will be a noticable improvement in their livelihood as time goes on.
Some people make sudden improvements after being Born Again, but some take more time than others. It all leans on Gods timing.
No matter what, Christians still sin but fortunately, we have an intercessor for all of our wrong-doings (a lawyer so-to-speak), and His name is Jesus Christ.
He's overdoing this nice guy front thing............. :wtf1:
Nope, it's not a front at all.. Pacquiao's just being led by the Holy Spirit.
When someone becomes a Born Again Christian, they become more like Jesus Christ as time passes by. This process is called "Sanctification."
f_ck pacquiao he is becoming more a politician than a fighter ...
could just go there and check on tony's health and that would have been cool, Manny stop acting like "ippo makanouchi" these thing are only for mangas/animes ...
I almost feel worse for Tony now. First he gets carried to the finish by Pac, and then hugged and apologized to for getting his ass handed to him. But that is the kind of **** you get to do when you are much, much better then everyone you fight. You can care about not hurting their feelings after you turn them from Mexican to Chinese.
all you bums saying why? its not that serious. if you find this a ***** move, and feel the need to hate on it, then you must live an angry life. ufc is that way ---->
if i was pac i woulda just hit body shots in the last 2 rounds lol...i felt bad for his eye
Ugh.
Where the fukk are the monsters in boxing now a days?
I miss cunts like Toney, Vargas and Mayorga
Tyson...... No robe, no tassels, no colour, no entrance music.....hell no socks.
Why is Pac apologising to Tony and his family? Is he feeling guilty about the fact that his body was flush with PED's ?
Boxing is a SPORT. Its a civilized competition between two individuals. Pacquiao has class which goes to speak about his character. Pacquiao has been known to invite defeated foes back to the Phillipines to party. Hes just a classy guy outside the ring and a beast inside it.
Why does Pacquiao apologize to a man who I doubt would apologize if he could hit Pacquiao more often and beat Pacquiao up like he did to Cotto? Pacquiao is in a sport where he has to do the hurting or he will get hurt, he better never forget that. If Pacquiao shows remorse to Floyd, Floyd will take advantage of that.
And Floyd would never have been able to inflict that kind of punishment on Margs
Don't see why he apologised. He chose to put a hurting on him, and to step in the ring with him. He could foresee the injury and continued so its not like a freak punch that put him in a chair.
I don't exactly think he was wrong in doing so but when two professionals meet in the ring that's the stuff you agree to. Really speaking I wouldn't want my opponent to come in my locker room and apologise to me, it would hurt my pride too much. Then again I would call it a day when my opponent realises how fkd my position is and takes it easy on me.
Pacquiao has to much of a good heart I guess. Still, you cant take away the gentlemen Pacquiao is, he really does hurt people badly, something that the majority of boxers cant do. He decapitate's people and destroys their souls, what do you expect? Are you trying to say it's not OKAY to respect an opponent after a fight? Pacquiao is a real man, he doesn't talk ****.
It's called magnanimity. or class if you may.
That is exactly what we need in boxing nowadays.
Pacquiao will also show remorse towards floyd after the fight.yup-you're exactly right--coz he'll realize that he was crazy for thinking he could beat floyd----he'll apologize to him for it---and show remorse towards him--trust me--
it's business in the ring, the hurt business to be exact. Pacquiao is a professional in the ring, ready to protect his position in the business. outside of the ring, he's a gentleman, plain and simple. so he provided his apologies, plain and simple.
class act.

PAC after the fight went directly to Tony's locker room and apologized... | BoxingScene Community
