I was watching the Canelo fight and I started thinking, Angulo must not give a **** about his health. He has to be up there . Give me your list of top 5 punching bags .
Edit: of any boxer ranked contender or higher.
Yes it does he has been saying either mikey is lying or he is being lied to the dude has said he will fight for "chicle" gum in spanish as long as he gets to beat the guy which makes sense since he fkd up his own career so bad. He has been desperately trying to dispel the rumors as a tactic to duck him since they started out of nowhere 2 months ago on some website without a quote.
Is it you make 8 and I make 5 or is it you make 1.7 and I make 5? That is what I want to know. Give me details @TeamMikeyGarcia— Yuriorkis Gamboa (@gamboa) March 7, 2014
Sorry it doesn't add up to me. Gamboa made a huge mistake in signing with a rapper who doesn't know the business. Now Gamboa isn't a factor in boxing. I like the kid but he's not that smart. If he was smart he would be fighting more than 1 time a yr( fight anyone) stay busy. At this rate he will be the next Joan Guzman.
Damn Yankee,
Not to burst your bubble or start anything but that sig with Gamboa doesn't prove anything.
All he says is that he will fight for whatever his promoter says...the promoter may feel Gamboa is worth more than he really is..so no point is made and no fight either.

Brian Sutherland, Nonito Donaire, Margarito, Rios, Angulo.. In some ways Jake Lamotta.
Andre Berto
wait......wut
Seriously though, some of you guys are listing guys with stellar records. For example, Hatton, Rios, and Margs have a combined record of 115-12-1. These are candidates for biggest punching bags in the sport's history? The hell is wrong with you people?
Reggie Strickland has 276 (TWO HUNDRED AND SEVENTY SIX) losses on his professional resume, yet guys like Hatton, Margs, and Rios are punching bags.

Rios is the latest greatest punching bag the dude chases the glove with his face.

Margarito and Merqui Sosa. Angulo did remind me of Margarito taking those shots, but I like Angulo and it's hard to watch. I would cheer as Margarito would get hit ...until I was horse.

Wow. Great shout.
Joe Grim: 24 wins-104 losses
only 10 losses by knockout fought Lightweight through Heavyweight opponents.. even the likes of Jack Johnson
That Japanese guy who fought last weekend fits that description. Watching the amount of punishment he can take has become entertainment. This is unfair because he doesn't have much of a chance of winning in these match-ups.
I thought it was very well stablished that Rockin was P4P the ultimate punching bag of all time. Hell evem wal mart greeters had a fun time beating him
In the last 10-15 years I would have to give it to Gatti(R.I.P., no disrespect), Margarito, and Rios.
I will have to say though, that I was actually pretty impressed with Rios' defense in the Pacquiao fight. He actually put his hands up and was blocking punches. Yes he took a lot of punches but he also blocked a lot. I thought Pacquiao wasn't going to miss and that Rios would have been too wild to block. His defense was actually not that bad, coming from some one who thought he would be brutally TKO'ed like David Diaz or get pummeled as bad as Margarito. It wasn't even half as bad as those fights.
