"In This Corner" by Peter Heller, provides great insight from some of boxings greatest trainers.
"The Fearless Harry Greb" Awesome ****ing book about the legend of Harry Greb
OP is a complete bafoon. 154 is the limit forJMW correct? Anything higher than 154 on the dot is effectively a MIDDLEWEIGHT.
What was Canelo for his past 4 fights?
Your. Brain. Must. Not. Compute. Basic. Data.
If. I. Weigh. 154.1, 154.5 155, 156.8, 157, 159.3, IT. DOESN'T. MATTER! As long as I am not 160.1 on the scales I am a middleweight. No way around that.
Does. Your. Brain. NOT. Compute. This. Simple. Fact !?

Boxing is a dance, an art, a song with the visual movement of notes.
This why a casual fan or fan boy cannot relate. Its really not about kos. It really isn't....
Powerful post.
MMA doesn't involve "boxing", it involves punching. We saw how quickly Colin or whatever his name is gassed when he tried boxing.
Boxing involves much more head movement and dynamic footwork, plus you need to shift balance properly and sit down on your punches more which tires your legs. Not to mention your arms tire out quicker when you wear heavier gloves and punch all the time.
I fully agree with everything you're saying and said all of this verbatim. His argument was asking me what's harder to master juggling 2 balls or juggling 10, he thinks 10, 10 being MMA. To each his own, I guess.
Had an argument/debate with an MMA buddy about which sport is more difficult to master/go through on fight by fight basis and argued for boxing using this very article at some point. Buddy said MMA isnt on that list, would be at the top of that list since it requires boxing, wrestling, all at once. "How can boxing, which is just fists and footwork, be compared to the science of grappling, elbow strikes, kicks, etc..." You can use all the stats in the world, some peoples minds are set before the discussion begins.
If you structure your bets correctly, you'll be good either way. Check this out, somehow I had it set up so that if Canelo wins this fight by 12 round decision I'll win 2 grand and if GGG wins I'll win 6k.

May the best man win.
(I covered the draw somewhere as well.)
Do you bet online and if so which website?
5dimes.eu they have the most options on a given fight but they limit the hell out of me lately so when I want to place heavy bets like this one I gotta fly out to vegas which is a bit of a hassle but worth it.

Gun to my head? The only way he wins is if Floyd suffers a freak injury in the ring, such as twisting his ankle, breaking his right hand in the first round, dislocating a shoulder..That would be Conor's only shot to win. If Floyd is healthy, there is literally no way he wins.
I don't post here much, but you will be very happy that you were not able to put money up. Pac got this by decision and I will gladly post a screenshot of my bet when I lock it in. Thousand bucks on Pac decision at +110.
The Guy travels oversees and snatches the title away from Junior Qwitter, comes back across the pond and defends against the best available. The dude loves coinflip battles and has great adaptability, shown in the Holt fight, heart, durability, consistency along wit a skillset like that of a pure boxer. Been making good money off him as of late.
^^this. Pac had not yet learned how to properly utilize his right hand + in-out movement and was expected to lose, shocked everyone by moving up and dominating MAB. The rest is a historical.
Mayweather's victory over Corrales was great, but Corrales is not an elite ATG like MAB.
I blame both fighters. When there is possibly 40 million dollars on each fighter's plate for the negotiations to fall apart goes to show that 1 side is not to blame.
I commend Bradley for being a fighter and warrior at heart.....out of his last 5 fights, aside from that Abregu fight at 147, Bradley has been in coin-flip(50-50 fight before it goes down) battles and dominated all opposition. Repeatedly said he does not care about the "0" he just wants to fight everybody..Respect. I Made some real nice money off Timothy recently...However, at this point, Bradley must do whatever he can to get the fight with Khan, so I guess Top Rank it is.....Bradley seems intelligent, but Bob Arum is a snake not to be trusted.
The gameplay seems off-balance at first, especially against the comp, but go online and play somebody who is overall good at FN and its ****ing awesome.
Hint Hint; tap the L button slightly instead of pushing it to the right to move the fighter. Especially as Tyson. Early KO. Me and my boy had 3 all out slug-fests. Crazy back and forth gameplay.
To quote Conor...
"Thats IT !???"
Theres About 4 measly punches in there. None of which affected Floyd in the least bit. The punch Maidana caught Floyd with at the end of a round was harder than all of Mcgregors shots combined. Go die in a corner you silly leprechaun.
I think you Quit bro! You didn't wanna continue
He most def did not want to continue, and it showed in his body language / lack of complaining about the stoppage in the moment. He was finished.
Not so quick, P4P best ? Who has he beaten really? Big fan of the guy, his skill set will see him end up well within that range pretty soon, but IMO he hasn't put in the work to be considered P4P #1 over a guy like Ward. Resumes don't lie.
