Which win is more impressive, Mayweather vs Corrales or Pacquiao vs Barrera 1?

yep...that loss should be a ko loss. He got exposed thats why tried to change his style....Morales brought the dog out him, seemed like they hated each other but that 1st fight took a lot out of both of them...its wonder how they fought two more times and other wars after that. Morales was the younger guy but Barrera was a thorn in his side. Barrera had a lot of wars, not including Morales even but man was he a special fighter. But Jones beat him in a war and then boxing in the rematch. Excellent fights both of them

Barrera vs Corrales at 130? Great fight.

me too...i gave the slight edge to mayweather vs corrales...2 prime, undefeated future hall of famers...these two cleaned out their era at 130-135 imo Barrera is the greater fighter more accomplished anyway but Barrera never cleaned out a division. between them, wins over Smoke Gainer, Casamayor, Robert Garcia, Genaro Hernandez, Carlos Hernandez, angel manfredy, Gary St. Claire, Castillo, Freitas, Jesus Chavez, Goyo Vargas imo Diego was just more dangerous at 130 than Barrera was at 126 and past prime as well i can see why someone would pick manny's win over barrera though One thing I never hear really discussed on this site is Barrera's two fights with Junior Jones that sorta exposed him. I agree and hindsight is 20/20 but it is still one hell of a win. No shame in saying I think it's better than the Corrales victory. I didnt expect Manny to dominate him like that but anyone who followed Barrera's career knows he has trouble with good speed and powerful straight shots Junior Jones couldnt miss his straight shots, Manny couldnt either....Morales doesnt have the one punch snap manny and jones had at 122 Barrera gets a little overrated. He was 60 fights in, 29 years old and many wars under his belt...great win by manny but the reason it is such a big deal is because Manny was unknown to casual fans and just hit the world scene a few fights prior...it was the shock value of the win Corrales and Mayweather were in their prime and undefeated...thats why fights like Leonard vs Benitez and Hearns were a big deal I agree and hindsight is 20/20 but it is still one hell of a win. Corrales looked like a character out of Mike Tyson's punch out next to Floyd, lol. I'd slightly pick the Barrera win though because I hold Barrera to a slightly higher regard for how he dismantled the long reigning #1 feather in Hamed. No disrespect to Floyd's win - that fight probably had the highest number of experts picking against him than at any other point in his career and he showed up strong.

Barrera is a great fighter but his status got a lil overblown when he beat Hamed...the same people who trashed the prince( like hbo and his haters) and said he was a hypejob made barrera out to be the best thing since sliced bread when he beat him....weird huh Barrera took 2 losses to jr jones prior and was slightly past prime. adapted a boxer puncher style because of past wars and wear and tear of 50+ fight career. Pacs win was more impressive both great but Berrera and Corralles mayb he RIP are not on the same level berrera is an ATG his resume is a level above Chico you seem to be super bias in your opinon look at it as if it was your own resume ...a dominate win over chico or a KO over the ATG Mexican borrales? whiich would you prefer? and i wouldnt say he was "past prime" just yet as he was coming off back to back to back wins over KELLY,TAPIA,MORALES,SANCHES AND HAMED............

Pacquiao's win over MAB.

Both were great victories, and probably Floyd and Pac's best wins respectively. Personally, I think Floyd's win over Chico (RIP) is more impressive. As great of a win as Pac had against Barrera in their first fight Marco had already been through countless wars and was probably no longer in his prime, but Pac still KO Barrera and he gets full credit for that. However, Mayweather fought a young, undefeated, and prime Corrales. At the time of the fight both guys were on the p4p list. Furthermore, Floyd put on one of the best boxing exhibitions I've ever seen. Floyd proceeded to knock Corrales down 5 TIMES and got the KO in the tenth round. Who thought a much smaller Mayweather would KO the power punching Corrales? That performance is without a doubt one of the best boxing performances I've ever seen, that's the stuff legends are made of. Thoughts? The fact that Mayweather/Corrales even has 113 votes says it all. The level of imbeciles/ethnic supporters is too damn high.

Both are impressive wins. But pac's win was waaay more impressive.. Pacquiao is supposed to be an easy tune up for barrera. Pacquiao was a nobody that time and he raped barrera relentlessly infront of the mexican crowd in san antonio.

I watched both fights again recently. Great performances by Mayweather and Pacquiao.

Manny over MAB... Mab was a much better fighter than corrales.. Corrales had alot of problems leading up to that fight,,, MAB was at his peak, he had just defeated undefeated prince and undefeated morales,, He was the legit kingpin of the featherweight division A better win IMO
