Canelo was dehydrated, drained, and weak against Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Khan is fighting a live Canelo at Canelo's weight. This is the Canelo that just ravaged through Kirkland and Cotto.
hope that is what you think about Cotto vs Pac.
Cotto was worse than Canelo , he lost resistance speed and endurance and he came of being beat to death by a cheater , lots of things different between the 2 CWs even as far as 2lb to Cotto is more than 2lb to Canelo Im sure you can figure why that would be .
Also Canelo called Floyd out at 152 not Floyd calling him out , Floyd just made him stick to what he asked for .
Manny called out Cotto and demanded 143 and Cotto said fck off , then Arum pressured Cotto into accepting the fight and Cotto said no title on the line which Arum wouldnt accept so he put the pressure on and Cotto accepted 145 .
People hear CW and think they are all the same , nothing can be further from the truth every CW has its own effect on a guy no 2 have the same effect .
whats done is done but lets be honest here kick all that fan boy shit out the window. If Mayweather could have beat canelo at 154 he would have like he did Cotto. Simple.

That 1 lb killed Canelo. Never knew going from 153 to 152 in five months time could do so much damage. It affected him so much he threw more punches the second half of the fight than the first.
hope that is what you think about Cotto vs Pac.
Flashback to 2012, Floyd Sr explains how Canelo will be drained on fight night at 152lbs. Do you think Amir Khan should have asked for a catchweight like Floyd? #boxing #caneloalvarez #canelokhan #amirkhan #floydmayweather #floydsr #floydmoneymayweather #mexico #england A video posted by Pacquaio | Canelo | Amir Khan (@boxinghighlights) on Feb 13, 2016 at 10:12am PST

Lol what type of BS propaganda is this!?!
You don't know what was Floyd fight night weight that night... or what was against Pacquiao, etc. He hides it for a reason. And Canelo is not the only one doing it, they all rehydrate after weigh in.
What I really think is that Canelo is a weight cheater that wins because he's too heavy. But it's not his fault, it's because they need to bring back the same day weight in as it was before.
I agree, overall Mayweather isn't an innocent victim (See Marqez for example). That said, Canelo uses his weight advantage on a routine basis and routinely has an unfair advantage against most of his opponents....Mayweather wasn't the bigger man very often during his career.
My point is that I don't feel bad for Canelo because Mayweather wouldn't allow him all of the advantages.
So when he weighed 172 against Trout and weighed in at 153.5 or whatever, maybe he lost about as much water weight as he possibly could to make that weight.
Against Floyd when he weighed 165 and weighed in a 152, maybe he knew ahead of time that there would be no way for him to make 152 based solely on water weight losses.
Maybe he and his team decided to change his diet (as I remember it, they said as much, said that he had to eat tons of fish on a very strict diet to make weight) and incorporate much more cardio to shred some muscle weight thinking it would not only allow him to make weight but also help him be quicker in the ring.
Losing a pound of water when you are already tapped out is not an easy thing. A pound of water is about a pint speaking volumetrically, which might as well be an ocean if you are already at your body's limit.
1ml of water weighs 1 gram , about 450 ml is a pound , 1 pint is about 560 ml
Fighters at top level mostly dont fight fat and are generally drying out their water reserves already to make a weight they are used too , so the only way they can cut down more is by losing muscle mass .
But you also have a line were you are not as strong but you are still sharp and your resilience is still there , go a little further and you are flat as a tack no snap no resilience no speed , the thing with Canelo was he never tired was snappy for him and moved freely the whole fight , look at Oscar and Dawson its easy to see the difference when they are severely weight effected , Canelo wasnt in the red zone like those other guys .

Absolutely common sense. I think anyone would have guessed it, except fl0mos. Good explanation but he/she'll come back trolling, as they always do :/
 That doesn't mean it was all muscle  Where can I buy one of those scales that only weight muscle. You're a f*ckin idiot

Not true? very true. He weighed 172 against trout months before, and 165 against mayweather. He had to lose muscle.
Just like Cotto eh and every other CWeighted guy in history !
Give it a rest the hate in here is stinking the joint out .
Not true and Mayweather Sr. resents his son. This isn't surprising at all. Grow up.

lmfao please point to where the OP says he is a crackhead since HE is the one who presented this topic, not some random NSB poster who talks smack all day.
this is why no serious discussion happen on NSB lol poster like you who will muddy up a topic with dumb statement like this. Well according to posters XYZ who have nothing to do with this thread says this and that about X so why I should I listen and discuss this topic with you OP. lmfao.
:lol1: You're one to talk. You can't even talk about boxing. Anytime i've tried to talk real boxing with you you go silent and have nothing to say because you don't know anything. Child please, you're probably one of the ones i'm talking about that calls him a crackhead
So people are now feeling sorry for a guy that weighs in two division higher than WW on fight night, SMH........Canelo got what he deserved for trying to use a huge weight advantage against an smaller, past prime, brittle handed Mayweather.

Translation;
Camelo=Canelo
Washed up=washed out
I remember senior when he was an amateur boxer, and a good one, it's tough
to listen to him now. To many head punches and drug addiction doesn't set you up for your formative years very well.
Between him and Guererro father and Garcia's they would make a killer pack on "Hollywood Squares"! Lampshadehead could host and you can have Bernard and Roy to fill out the squares.
I'd watch it!
Ray
Should Khan have asked for a catchweight?? 155 is a catchweight and Khan did ask for 152
What's wrong with asking? It's a negotiation tactic.
Floyd Mayweather Jr. asked Canelo for a rehydration clause and a second weigh in day. Canelo rejected those but had to accept the 152 catch weight.
Either way, at the end of the day, Khan is fighting Canelo at Canelo's weight of 155 lbs.
Not only drained, he was weakened. He had to lose muscle mass. He only weighed 165 on fight night when he usually fights at 170+ so yeah he lost some pounds of muscle to make weight
