I believe any fighter in the ring with Margarito would have won, his eye was going to swell no matter who was in the other corner. That was a set up:sad:

most of the rounds were close. I had may winning 7 5. May one the first and last 2 rounds ez. It was close . May show off is boxing skills. Cotto showed us his heart.
Dawson one of my fav fighters, we from the same hood and everything. He look strong against bhop, pushing him off at will. Against ward he didnt look as strong. I guess ward is just that strong. Dawson look so damn frail in there. He didnt look rite from round 1. I had him losing every round. Ward look good in there. He made dawson look bad. Dawson punches are always long in every fight for some reason. I dont like that he quit and that he didnt try for a knockout. He look like a second tier fighter in there.
Damn is all I got to say. I grew up with chad. He was a disgrace last nite quiting and shyt. We werent raise like that. Especially in a fight. He did look weak though. So you guys say mayweather outboxes tito. At 147 mayweather has been more of a pressure fighter. He stood in front of mosley, ortiz, etc. So how does he beat tito. Well Tito was a good boxer. Was he a better boxer then floyd no. Was he a better all around fighter then floyd at 147? I would go with yes. Does he have a better resume at 147? I would say yes. We all knock on tito because he is limited boxing wise but we only know that caus he face the best competition out there. When tito lost it wasnt at 147. He was a different fighter when he move up. Would be a great matchup. pressure, power, cardio, vs higher boxing IQ, better defense,. I love cotto , but vargas beats him. I was scared when trini fought vargas. I thought he had a good shot to beat trini. This era of boxing is weak compare to the oscar era. Not cottos fought though he fought anyone and everyone.

Yea I think tall athletic fighters or strong pressure fighters will give mayweather problems... At 147 trinidad was an animal, margarito was a machine, you got oscar. Trinidad lost against bigger fighters, margarito wont stop pushing forward, and oscar at 147 could do it all. Also forrest was a beast. All these guys had workrates. Have we seen mayweather fight someone even remotely close to these guys?
Tito should of taken a tune-up before fighting Roy, he got his ass whipped.Idk if a tuneup fight would of help... I was pissed caus I fell for the hype.. He came back for the money... Roy look bad too. I wouldnt call it an ass whoopin. I dont remember anyone with any bruises....

Cotto look great last nite in the win... He def will win the next fight with trout if they fought. Cotto look terrible in wins vs the same level competion in mayorga and foreman. How about Margarito? Nobody knows how long he did what he did. So what is the difference? Tito was putting people to sleep up until then Hopkins fight happens and after that he really didn't KO anybody of note except mayorga and it took him a long time to KO'em. I am sure you were blasting margarito when it happened.
The way tito wrap his hands is only illegal in newyork, hopkins made him rewrap his hands more as a way to get in tito head. After hopkins tito fought like four more times. He fought against mayorga, winky wright, roy jones jr and another guy. So you guys tell me how many people have knock winky wright out and when he came back to fight roy jones he was already wash up. I think the other 2 guys he stopped.
amazingly tito's power after this fight was never quite the sameyea maybe because he fought bigger fighters, the handwrap situation is only illegal in new york. he can wrap it that way for a prize fight anywhere else.
