i got the link but the streaming only plays for like 5 seconds and then stops and starts again anyone know why or how to fix same thing was happening on the top rank on as well
I agree Calzaghe has an iron chin and good movement. RJJ is gonna have to hit him with a sledge hammer.
iron chin did you not watch his last fight he got dropped by a 43 year old man who is meant to be out of his prime
i think calzaghe just likes beating up senior citizens who he thinks can't fight anymore
Roy Jones JR
who else in the sports has gone through a round without having a punch land on them (did this on sevral occassions)
he has unbelievable speed and power the only problem was coming back down from
heavyweight too soon which has led to him becoming the fighter he is today
having been at the Sydney press confrence for the up coming fight against danny green an interesting comment was made roy said that he is enjoying his boxing more now then before because now people aren't sure whether he will win or not
i think it shows now he might not be fighting against the best fighters out there but he is still entertaining the crowds and putting on good shows action wise
floyd on the other hand has shown a somewhat attitude towards protecting his perfect record his speed and defenssive abillities are against the best unmatched but has he tested them against the best some will think not and whilst Roy looked for the challenges for great fights most times above his weight class of late it seems floyd is more then happy to see the best fights against people of a naturally smaller weight
given time and there is plenty left floyd has more then enough talent skill and big fight opponents in his weights class to change this perception
its a tough call but just because of what Roy has achieved up to this point in his career i give him the nod floyd has plenty of time left to still achieve even more greatness
Wait......Casa and BHop were over the hill but Morales was prime. :lol1:
I have nothing against Pacquiao, i just feel hes never beaten Marquez so it would make no sense to rank him above him.
i know what you are saying but the fact is he did well in the judges eyes anyway
i think JMM should be number 2 at least
who has Kelly Pavlik beat well they are
Eric Benito Tzand
Nelson Hernandez
Frankie Sanchez
Anthony Collier
Lafayette Randolph
Cedric Johnson
Mathias Bedburdick
Tommy Walker
Grady Brewer
Mario Lopez
Rob Bleakley
Robert Dasoyan
Eric Olds
Abel Hernandez
Edson Madrid
Eduardo Gutierrez
Cesar Avila
Rico Cason
Anthony Ivory
Roberto Baro
Pedro Ortega
Carlton Holland
Ross Thompson
Dorian Beaupierre
Daniel Neal
Vincent Harris
Fulgencio Zuniga
Bronco McKart
Lenord Pierre
Jose Luis Zertuche
Edison Miranda
Jermain Taylor twice
Gary Lockett
good to see if we don't know something we are not afraid ask
De La Hoya and Jones
De La Hoya because i think he is going to really use his left hook when Pac is coming in to fight inside and really thats the only way pac can win is to get inside if he stays back oscar will have a jab in his face all nite long
Jones because of his speed and his right hand it will be hitting calzaghe all the time and that will slow calzaghe down i think jones has a real big chance for an early stopage but he has got to be ready to go from the start
since we're talkin about pound for pound;
who would win if PAC was 6'1 and a solid 168-175 against Joe C?
if Pac can still have his same style
and given Joe's last performance
i would pray for JOE'S life
pac mayweather cotto oscar hopkins calzaghe all talkin about retirement
only true warriors like margarito and jmm keep fighting even if theyre over 30
dam he is 43 most people would think he should be retired
i found an article on another website ithas PAC-MAN as number 1 pound for pound now i believe that this means he is the best in the world
on this same website he is considered number 4 in the lightweight divison how does this work out to be he is either the best or not its simple
i personally believe he is
Yeah, pick the old Cal to battle a prime PAc at 168, genius lol.
so based on what you have said calzaghe's fight against Hopkins and now Jones will be discredited because they are out of their prime
Joe Calzaghe how will he ever be forgotten you have got to be kidding me
he will always be remebered a SLAPPER DUCKER beat by a 43 YEAR OLD man but got the decision and KO'D by an out of prime Roy Jones JR
Katsidis seemed look like he thought he was winning in the way in which he fought and when they announced the decision he was crushed after he heard that first judge gave it to him but awsome fight
they are a professional they signed the contract which said they would make that weight they should have some form of punishment for not meeting the weight
Jones has as much chance of beating Calz as Judah had of beating Clottey none what so ever these people saying he will KO Calzaghe are hilarious incase you have'nt noticed Calzaghe takes a pretty good shot also Jones last KO was way back in 2002 against Clinton Woods
so WTF
i also dont see him getting a decision either cause of his poor stamina this is a sure fire victory as you can get IMO same as the Judah v Clottey fight
unless Calzaghe has detiriorated to the level Jones is at now then i only see one winner and it aint Roy im afraid
how can calzaghe go down to Roy's level even though Roy's shot he is still at a higher level then calzaghe
That was a seriously bullshit blow he delivered there. Intentional, but in the heat of the moment, I can't blame Margarito. The worst I could see is the ref taking a point, both for that and for the 2x low blow, but it wouldn't of made a difference...Cotto still would of been TKO'd.
if he had of taked a point off it would have made a much bigger diference then you might think Cotto gets 30-45 sec of recovery enough to make it out of the round maybe and then another minute could have made all the difference to the outcome but we will never know
i agree it was in the heat of the moment but it didn't seem to do too much damage if you think back to Jones vs Griffin it was two big punches which left him worse off
this issue will become alot clearer after Haye's debut in the heavywieght to see if he has got tools and skill to be able to
A. take a pucnh from a natural heavywieght
B. deliver a solid punch to a natural heavyweight
C. put in a decent performance which the heavywieght division so desperately needs
anything less then a KO will be dissapointing because of all the talk he has been doing about WALD
Too true my friend.
These guys will have to come to terms with it soon, history only remembers winners.
history only rembers true champs like Jones and Hopkins where was Calzaghe when they were in their primes. he turns up on the scene and beats them when they are past it still highly competitve but a shadow of their former self.
1. Manny Paciquao
2. Juan Manuel Marquez
3. Israel Vazquez
4. Joe Calzaghe
5. Kelly Pavlik
6. Miguel Cotto
7. Ivan Calderon
8. Cristian Mijares
9. Antonio Margarito
10. Nate Campbell
these two fights should happen regardless of what happens
Jones Vs Hopkins will be their last fight and they sail off into the sunset and the HOF
Pavlik Vs Calzaghe Calzaghe sails off back home shown to be the fraud he truly is and Pavlik goes onto bigger and better things
