So no deal yet but awful close, and I love this fight. Diaz, a pressure fighter, against a smooth boxer in Farmer.

JoJo represents - by far - the toughest test of Farmer’s four-fight title reign.
Looms as first significant fight of 2020 DAZN schedule https://t.co/xEHqDcTM2s
The Tevin Farmer-Joseph Diaz Jr. title fight, once a deal is completed, will take place at Verizon’s purpose-built arena in Miami. Verizon sets up shop at the Super Bowl each year with an impromptu venue for concerts, etc. Great scene for a fight #FarmerDiaz

With all the Mexican Athletes testing positive for clenbuterol because of the meat problems in Mexico WADA and WBC updating their rules to allow acceptable threshold for small traces consistent with meat contamination. Under new rules canelo would not of been considered a failed test or been subject to any penalty. The @WBCBoxing has adopted the new WADA rules on a threshold allowable for clenbuterol to take tainted food into account, meaning past positive tests for @canelo & others would not count as a failed test under the new limit. Sources tell @TheAthleticBOX Ryan Garcia will fight Avery Sparrow of Philadelphia on Sept. 14 in a lightweight bout streamed on DAZN & promoted by Golden Boy. The fight will likely land in Carson, California. Sparrow, coming off a victory over Hank Lundy, is a step-up for Garcia

Dead in the middle of summer, too, for those of you asking why this didn’t perform exponentially better than Pacquiao-Broner. Viewers are on vacation, have more plans, etc. https://t.co/G6CD1DCThd

Sources: Mikey Garcia and Eddie Hearn are engaged in advanced talks on a multi-fight deal that would bring the former four-division champion exclusively to DAZN. No deal is imminent at this time, but both sides are hopeful an agreement can be reached in the coming weeks

UPDATE: After hanging out this weekend Mikey Garcia agrees to meet with Arum to discuss plan that could potentially lead to Loma fightOk....I really need a beer now pic.twitter.com/De85JoKaOg

So after @BobArum offered @mikeygarcia a fight of his choice at 140, Garcia accepted an offer to meet with Top Rank brass later this month to discuss a plan that could lead to @VasylLomachenko ... many options on table.

Lee Selby held a title at 126. Broner has claimed belts at 130, 135, 140 and 147. Fight makes sense at junior welter and would likely land on Showtime https://t.co/u9HYdx29CG
