Charlo-Adams Averages 379K Viewers on Showtime
Edit: Co-Main Lubin vs Attou drew 262K viewers.
Marrero fight first of the triple header tracked outside of the Nielsen TV ratings Cable top 150 charts so I can't find those numbers.
How will Keith Idec try and inflate and spin these numbers? Tune in later today when he releases his article to find out LMAO
Showtime boxing is going to die.
Part of me thinks Showtime is staying in boxing just in case Mayweather comes back for another bout.
It's been an abysmal year for Showtime and looking at the upcoming schedule, not getting any better.
They need stop giving Fox the good fight then
Wilder , Tank are like only 2 guarantee to keep fighting on showtime
no surprise it was a very busy night of combat sports
UFC>Boxing that night on social media all the talk was about Francis Ngannou as well as Some AEW Wrestling PPV. So we can make it about Charlo but I will keep posting that Boxing In General has a issue. Nobody watched Andrade either and nether delivered a KO to go Viral so nobody cared and neither was trending
so No those are NOT big fights for Canelo outside of the Hardcore boxing fans, of course I still want to see them but they're not Mega Fights or anything like that
Boxing is on a extreme decline that its arrogant fans are in denial about and only want to make it about PBC Ratings. This sport in general is trending downwards sadly!
We need ALL Platforms to provide good matches consistently and fighters need to be seen more consistently so that the Casual fans don't forget about them
Very Concerned that UFC pulled ahead and is pulling away from Boxing while fans are busy making it about PBC vs DAZN vs Top Rank :nonono:
Bad...the main event didn't even crack the cable top 50 charts
http://www.showbuzzdaily.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Final-Cable-2019-Jun-29.SAT_-1.png
It finished 84th in the top 150 Demographic ratings. The 2hrs of the broadcast that we do have ratings for Showtime barely hit 300K viewers for that entire 2hr block. But there was the first hour which included the Marrero fight that didn't even crack Nielsen top 150 charts so likely that entire first hour did lower then 200K viewers which drags the entire 3 fight broadcast avg somewhere in the middle 200K viewers range. 200 something that's the total avg viewership for the Showtime card this weekend.
Wow, I could see two UFC cards on there too. Thanks anyways
Is this good or bad?

Motorcity Cobra was quick to post Jermell’s ratings with a horrible attempt to try to spin them so that people thought they were actually good ratings lol.
I wonder why he hasn’t made a post about Jermalls numbers. Lol.
You notice how boxingscene always makes their headline for pbc cards with the peak number and includes Spanish broadcast and the streaming number to come up with the highest number possible yet for espn cards they put the average.
I wonder why that is? Just look at the article for Charlo Cota ratings for proof.

killakali...get ready for the long azzz Keith Idec spin show article. Where he will only mention the Peak numbers in the article title and will then add streaming numbers, he'll find a Spanish broadcast of the fight somewhere and add those ratings to it, then he will include the sunday morning replay ratings and maybe even OnDemand numbers to try and inflate and sugar coat these shyt ratings. Hell he might do like he did with Wilder and add youtube views. lol
Did I forget to mention that Boxingscene is owned by CBS  and CBS has millions invested in PBC through Showtime no way they can't just report the ratings accurately without agenda and bias they are financially invested in PBC.

What should be really concerning is not just how bad the ratings have been for Showtime but in addition how few and far between these Showtime boxing cards are coming. We are in July and they had what like 5 or 6 Showtime Boxing cards total? And the next Showtime card isn't until a month from now when Tank fights. Meanwhile DAZN and ESPN are putting on World Class fights every weekend. FOX and FS1 are getting way more cards then Showtime from PBC and I think that is effecting their ratings more then anything. If you subscribe to Showtime for boxing you are now getting maybe 1 fight a month and almost all are mismatches.
Charlo/Adams
Wilder/Breazale
Tank/Ruiz
That's half of Showtime boxing's calendar for the year. Next fight is another massive mismatch with Tank against. FOX and FS1 are getting the better fights from PBC and that's not even mentioning the bigger fights are now going to PPV not Showtime or FOX. What point is it subscribing to Showtime for Boxing when you get more and better fights elsewhere.
No doubt FOX is getting majority of the big names and the others are going on PPV. Spence fought on SHO twice last year while he won't fight once this year. Broner fought on SHO twice last year while his only fight this year was on PPV. Then guys like Porter, LSC, DSG, Mikey etc that fought on SHO are fighting elsewhere.
SHO hasn't been getting the big name fighters minus Wilder and guess Charlo and Tank. Though the latter two have never proven to do good numbers as headliners...Because well, they never were headliners for the most part until recently.
SHO will be putting on Wilder/Ortiz on PPV, but if FOX goes with Spence/Porter, then SHO needs to pony up and put Garcia vs Garcia on SHO later this year.
LIS, a month ago, numbers down across the board...on every network. More boxing has not meant better boxing and the ratings reflect that. Granted, guys like Spence haven't fought on FOX or SHO this year, but the other fights were still doing better ratings last year. What Lara did vs Castano was actually solid numbers. You could live with that. But if Lara a non-big name fighter is doing that, then Tank/Charlo/etc should be doing better than that.

Those are terrible numbers just shows Showtime numbers are way down across the board for 2019. Even down numbers Lara out performed Charlo who everyone said fighting on FOX would give him so much exposure and make him a star. He came back to Showtime and drew worse then Lara, and about as much as female fighter Shields. This card also drew worst then Tank Davis early this year against a last minute replacement nobody.

Totally forgot about that fight.
Did pretty solid numbers. Lara confirmed star!
