I love knockout kings 2001 and 2002. They are tons of fun. Didnt care or fight night round 3 mostly brcause movement feels like you're stuck in the mudd and I hate when you get blocked and frozen. 4 is okay but Champion is better imo.
He doesnt have the mental capcity/toughness to overcome adversity, so not beating Hopkins and becoming a drunken loser as soon as things get tough go hand and hand.
Its the hall of fame, not macarthur grant of boxing or some sh*t. Under that kind uberscrutiny/ticy tacing rhe hall would have about ten guys. Cotto absolutley deserves it. kicked everybodys ass, only lost to Pac and a VERY questionable Margarito. I might not vote for Mosley only because of the steroid issue but otherwise he has the resume.
The ONLY reason? I can understand saying a big reason, maybe even the biggest, but the ONLY? It had nothing to with Pac being a tremendous fighter?

I call BS.
Hell yes. Sending Margarito out for the 10th round against Pac was inhumaine. And he just generally has his guys fight a stupid fight. I like Mikey and I'm worried he's gonna f**k up his career.
I was pondering this and I think Mayweather because if he beats Pac, people will just say Pac was past it. If he beats Mayweather, he'll have done something nobody else has done before as well as beat the guy most consider ahead of Pacquiao P4P.
He was clearly displeased with how the Ortiz fight ended, as was I. I mean, your dominating a guy and your faking a hug to knock the guy out when he doesnt know hes fighting 'whoopdy doo' look how awesome I am, nobody in the crowd is happy but I still going to act like everythings normal. Anyway,He expects more from fighters than alot people do and yes, Floyd is very sensitive and seeking of universal approoval.
Kessler - Froch was.
This, plus Ward's final win may have been one sided but it was a thing of beauty against a tremendous froch. And just the whole structure of a tournament with (most of) the best guys and everybody locked in was very fun and compelling.
From Adamek, I saw a lot of jabbing to the body..... And really nothing else but standing there and taking it. Haye was in retreat mode the whole fight, landed one or two good overhands and didn't follow them up, just went back to being a ***** waiting to show everyone his toe after an incredible amount of hubris and disrespect leading up. Both sucked, apples and oranges. Haven't seen Chisora/Vitali yet, but he can't be worse. Adamek does certainly win out in the class department over the other two though.
Imprisonment for more than a month is crazy. License revoking for a year and a half at least is fair IMO. The British boared didnt decide to give Mike Tyson less than two years. And if Haye is the golden boy, that's sad. He is not a good representative for britain either.
A good question indeed. I wish we would get to see that fight. physically, Cotto is not the best he's been, but he's smarter now, has better better technique and discipline.
I thought steward was an even better fit, plus more knowledgable. Cotto fukd himself over with that one imo.
Agreed. When I heard Pedro Diaz talk about how Cotto was teaching him so many things about the pro game, I knew he wasn't going to be able to do as much for him as Emanuel.
The old way was so much better, especially the intro. I don't want to see the ring being driven in the truck to the arena, I want to see a great montage of classic confrontations with the likes of Haggler, Hearns, Trinidad, Mayweather, Jones, Tyson, Holyfield etc. It's SUPPOSED to be about the sport, not the network patting itself on the back and drawing attention to itself saying "look at us".
Thanks, Ken Hershman. please f**k off now.
Showtime used to have Steve Albert, and he was very good. But none of you noticed that he existed, and that is why he is gone now.
Mauro Renallo is far better than Gus Johnson, though.
The neck is whatever, it's the least of his worries when he has such a terrible time focusing on the task at hand.
Poor Amir, always daydreaming about tomorrow and missing today.
