After watching a few preview clips from "On Freddie Roach" I actually feel real bad for the guy.
Not that I didn't before, but I never realized how bad his disease has gotten.
They showed a clip of him trying to wrap Khan's hands and he was struggling bad due to his Parkinson disease.
Also, I'm not really a Roach fan either, but I feel this is actually going to be better than any HBO boxing documentary, including the 24-7's.
Freddie Roach has said on numerous occasions that he lives a great life and people shouldn't feel sorry for him at all.
roach doesnt let his illness get in the way of what he does. hes not someone we should pity. hes an *******, but boxing wouldnt be the same without characters like him so i appreciate the guy in many ways.
I don't feel sorry for him, I was worried for him when I saw how he was shaking uncontrollably when they were interviewing him and khan after the Peterson fight, am sure he has obviously come to terms with his disease so I don't think he wants people to feel sorry for him.
wheres the clip?
Not sure if it is up on the net....but I've been watching a lot of HBO the past couple of days, and they play clip in between shows and movies.
